They steal your money, I applied to rent a house from them, they approved me, but I had to pay a 3-month deposit plus the first month's rent, plus fees, that's ridiculous, I decided that I'm not going to rent with them, and They stole my 150 dollars from the applications, plus 250 dollars of holding fee, definitely, do not try to apply with them, 100% not recommended

We applied this Saturday to a home on **************** in ******** ****. Received several emails and updates stating first that they wouldnt do 18 month so were processing for 12. Suddenly, we get a you were denied email, after being told we would be getting a call in a few moments to go over things. Your website and application first states that you give 48 hours to cancel an application, you didnt. Within three hours we were denied after the oddest chain of interaction. I have read the other complaints and can confirm the deplorable, inconsiderate treatment other shared is absolutely the same I have experiences. Complete lack of concern for me their client in service time and communication. I have lived here only two months and have had to make four maintenance requests. The first was an alarm connected to the doorbell ringing inside the house 24hours a day that would not shut off. It took three days to have someone out to turn it off. Literally one of the worst rental companies out there. When we first moved into our home in *******, ** we went 3 months without AC, even after service requests were put in they still didn't fix it. It took almost to october to get any resolution as the contractors/service repairmen kept saying the issue was solved when it was in fact not. Today, November 13, 2021 we had an emergency situation. Man Where do I start? Let's start at the beginning of our adventure with this awful company.My fiance' and I found a house that we loved, so we applied without thinking there would be issues. We literally had to sign four leases because Progress Residential couldn't seem to get that right. I'd leave zero stars if I could. We've been in the same house for 2.5 years and the **** breaks multiple times per season. This summer the a/c stopped working 3 times within 2 weeks before they finally got it repaired properly. Now our heat is out. This is the third fall/winter we've been here and the 3rd time the heater hasn't turned on AT ALL. It's supposed to be an emergency maintenance issue but trying to get maintenance scheduled is always an issue and each time you speak to a representative of Progress they tell you so... read more

I have been in this home since Feb 2020 and the home needed new tubs because they leaked or were broken. I took 7 to 8 mths to get them fixed so we had to use the stand up shower this entire time. Now the wall in the master bath has nails sticking out everywhere and they put up plastic boards instead of tile and drywall and won't fix it. The wood is also rotting off the outside of our home and it needs paint inside and out. They won't fix it. They only patch things and come and take photos. Runnnn whatever you do run. This company is a scam theyve price gauged the market. (No way a house in rural *********** should be the same as a house in the huge ************** and specifically *******.) Then they charge utilities in your rent, but tell me then how I was without any water due to nonpayment of the water to the city. They literally didnt pay the **** for over 60 houses in my area per the water department. I have a newborn baby and had no water for 48 hours. I signed my lease on 1/19/21, on 2/13/21 I put in a maintence request because my AC was not working. Progress residential is great about responding to a maintence emergency within 2 hours. I give them one star for that. However the people they send to do the job, don't get the job done. Since feb 13th, I have put in four additional maintence requst for my AC, ( 4/12/21, 8/23/21, 9/3/21, 11/2/21). there has been times when me and my children stayed in a hotel beause the home was to hot and progress does not cover hotel expens... read more
