Well, if I had read the reviews on this website first, I would have known better than to rent from Progress Residential. We were not allowed a walk through before move in but instead they sent us pictures of house condition to agree to. The house is covered in mold and mildew on the outside and we were wiling to pressure wash it ourselves, however, we found more on the inside under cabinets, in window frames, showers, etc, Upon move in, we noticed that the stove had an error code where the time usually is. HORRIBLE rental company!! Thank GOD our lease is finally up so we can get out of here but do you think that Progress is done s******* us over? NOPE!! When we moved in we paid 1st & last month's rent, currently being charged last month's rent AND additional charges for time AFTER WE MOVE OUT (additional charges are over $500.00!! and we won't EVEN BE THERE... that's right they are charging us for the days AFTER we move out to total out the month!!!!!!!!!!! This is not a good business to even attempt to lease from. I attempted to lease a home through this company and needed to do so within a short timeframe. I needed to tour the property before leasing, but for days setting up the tour using Rently was a problem. I called and was told an agent would call me back to give me a code to get into the home. We planned our move to ***** and were approved for a home through Progress Residential. They stated the home should be ready between 6/21/21 and 6/28/21. We arrived on 6/30/21 and called multiple times to finally find out it would not be ready until 7/2/21. 7/2/21 arrives and after multiple calls we find out it will not be ready for another 2 weeks with no explanation and no heads up. Long story short, progress will charge their renters for *** violations that are not the renters responsibility then give you the run around when trying to call and contest the fees. I have been calling, emailing and texting, as well as submitting maintance request since April of this year and they have yet to fix the *** issue which is tree roots. Which by their website is the responsibility of Progress Residential. Instead they have just been charging me monthly for the issue. Definitely don't recommend renting from this c... read more

Absolutely the worst rental company, wish I could give zero stars. They are dishonest, unresponsive, rude, scammers. They steal money from their tenants while providing zero assistance to things their responsibility for per the lease. I broke my lease 7 months early just to get the h*** out. House was a dump, yet charged me for the repairs to make it livable. I refused to pay. They need to be taken out of business, theyre disgusting.

I have never had such a horrible experience with customer service that I have had with **********************. I have been treated so rudely by everyone who answers the phone after being told hold times were 7 minutes and I was on hold for close to an hour. We have been in one of their homes for only 3 months and we are moving out. Our house smells like mold and when we put in a work order they told us that standing water in the crawl space is normal and the sump pump consists of a bucket with a hose. They deserve minus stars. We received a letter from a realtor stating they had a buyer that wanted to purchase our house for a large sum of money "as is." I called and asked about the amount and the realtor said it was correct and they were willing to buy as is. We have lived in our home 23 years and it is very well maintained. Some mechanicals replaced this year. They sent us the offer and said to take our time looking it over. We decided to have a realtor friend check it out. I did not originally signed a lease with progress residential. The home Im living at was sold by another management company in progress now manages it. After hours and Air conditioning went out. It was above ************************************************* the home and about 3 every 30 minutes getting hotter and hotter.
