As a 16 year U.S.A.F. veteran, I have been to a few different countries and lived in another. Let me be start by saying that I have never been treated with such a lack of professionalism, respect, and empathy as I have since being a resident with Progress Residential. This treatment been an ongoing from day one, but considering the current state of our country with the COVID-19 epidemic, you'd think you'd find a little more empathy from a landlord, especially having been a four year resident thus far, but it's been quite the... read more

WORST COMMUNICATION EVER!! ALL CALLS TO AGENTS GO DIRECTLY TO VOICEMAIL! NO CALLS BACK! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The only time you can speak to someone is if you call the customer service line... They reach out to your agent and get a piece of information you need but you still do not get to speak with the agent. NOW, in all fairness, the home is beautiful and in a great location. When you need maintenance, they are quick to send someone out. However, you do this request on line. When I did need somethings done ( they let them... read more

The Coronavirus is having a widespread impact on jobs all across the country as well as in North Carolina. Jobs are at moderate to high risk. The COVID-19 has an affect virtually on every part of the economy, as I am sure your company is very much aware of. I think it is ridiculous in these circumstances that Progress Residential would not consider keeping the rent as is instead of increasing the rent.

I would give no stars if possible. Please do not make the same mistake as me and stay far away from them. I just moved into one of their homes it was filthy and most appliances did not work Including the air condition which is a necessity in florida. They lie and make broken promises. DO NOT LOOK AT WHAT THE BBB RATES THIS READ ALL COMPLAINTS AND BELIEVE IT.

Living in a Progress Residential property has been the worst renting experience I have ever had. The lack of communication is downright unimaginable of, I never thought I would experience such a disconnect with customer service from a company operating in the United States. If you do not currently rent with Progress Residential, I highly advise that you avoid this company at all costs. They do not communicate, they do not return calls, or notate any information about previous calls. Their rental prices are very uncompetitive... read more

I have leased from this company almost 2 years there are several reasons this is a horrible company to lease from. I have trees in my yard that are tall as the house they tell me if they need trimmed it is on me this is unreal. The smoke detector one is in the vaulted ceiling so high you can't even use a ladder they will charge me 60$ to change a battery that is just unreal. Now my garage door will not open so made a work order it is like talking to a toddler I have explained the door will not OPEN what part of that do they ... read more

I applied fo one of their property. Before applying I spoke to the Customer Care Rep as well as the leasing agent to advise of my situation. I clearly stated that I had no rental history in the USA as I was relocating from Canada. I clearly asked if this would be an automatic denial and I was told no, and additionally I could get a guarantor which I did. I applied and provided all my details. The first warning sign was them asking for an application for my 9 year child and that my application will be cancelled and deposit no... read more

I just moved into one of their homes on February 1st and have had nothing but bad experiences with the communication since getting approved. There were issues that didn’t exist when we saw the property, and day 1 there were problems that apparently can’t be fixed and are marked “as is”. Don’t rent from them. They don’t communicate well and have horrible customer service over the phone. The only good thing is their maintenance guys are quick and friendly.

Hidden charges, horrible people to work with. They will add charges to your account, and make the process of contesting them impossible. They just appear, you are not warned in advance. A call would be courteous. They treat you like you are Scum. Set up auto pay immediately. My first month, got a notice to pay or quit posted to my door. In discussing it with their employee, it was obvious I'd made a mistake on dates. It was very obviously an innocent mistake, but they refused to refund the crazy high penalties for this. Yard... read more
