Right now if I could give negative stars I would! Very upset whole new HVAC system put in house just 10 days ago. Today part is out and company cannot get it. My house is over 80 degrees inside and nothing is being done!!! System cost me a ton, I just bought my house and need help! The service manager called once and has not gotten back with me. I asked for hotel or something as I have health issues. I am angry to say the least. Owners need to get involved and help with this!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. The $20K + HVAC system installed in my home failed after only three months. While I understand that equipment can occasionally have defects, what has been most frustrating is the lack of urgency in addressing the problem. Way overpriced and huge estimates. My advice is to go with a smaller company who will do the same job for a fraction of the cost. This is to be expected with larger companies, and more overhead, but still. Our faucet only needed a new "O"-ring, not a whole new faucet. We ended up having a friend replacing it for free.
AVOID I had radiant plumbing and air-conditioning come to my house to look at my garbage disposal that wasn't working. After playing around with it for about 10 minutes, the technician told me that it was broken and then gave me options for a new one, with prices starting at $1000. He charged me $250 for the visit. A week later, I had my neighbor take a look at it and he easily fixed it with an Allan key right away. This business feels like a scam.
On July 8th, I scheduled to have my kitchen drain cleaned. The plumbing company's website advertises an $83 drain cleaning service. When the plumber arrived, he immediately started to up-sell with a variety of more expensive services. I decided to stay with the advertised special and the job began. Horrible, unresponsive and uncaring service. My AC went out last week. Even though I had purchased the AC and a 10 year warranty from Radiant, three days later they never could manage the repair. My calls to speak to a manager went ignored. I told them EXACTLY what part to order and they never did. Two people confirmed the tech had the part and he showed up without it. I already have an existing AC maintenance agreement with them so when i needed to replace a bidet and repair another one I called Radiant. The entire job took under an hour and was not in the least bit complicated -- take one bidet off, install another and then install a new coupling on the second bidet. It cost me over $1,100. Not one word when making the appointment from the office or dispatcher about what it might cost. What the hell is so difficult and time consuming that it costs that much for this work. Hey there, Similar to other complaints, this shop practices scare tactics and huge estimates trying for big $$ Called a 2nd plumber out, he found a simple issue and fixed it for literally an eighth of the price they wanted... Before "the owner" chimes in at the bottom of this and says "we'd be happy to make it right blah blah blah". No. NO you won't. We had been waiting on Radiant to come out and do what they do to my water heater. My wife and I work full time and we made arrangements for one or the other to be present. We moved things around in the garage so the service personnel had access to the water heater. However, on back to back Fridays, they cancelled claimimg it was emergency calls that take priority.
