I was highly recommended by Credit Karma to apply for refinancing of my loan, and with my credit score of 750, and a potential savings of $72/month once refinanced, I applied, but was denied by Rate Genius -- UNBELIEVEABLE!!

Horrific beyond words!!. Horrific experience all around.. Nobody knows what they are doing and when you call you get a different story every time...worst customer service I've ever dealt with and I work in customer service so I know how people should act and nobody here knows what they are doing....They constantly lie and play games also because every time you call you get a different story from these people that don't know what they are doing.. hard check and said not approved for 761 Big Idiots, they did hard check and said that they cannot refinance my car even though I have 761 score. MF and AH, FF
Extremely unprofessional leaving a voicemail thinking they hung up but after I listened and hearing the woman talking about pooping herself after doing illegal drugs and using the F word about a dozen times I called to complain and it really doesn’t seem as if they are a professional company at all I have the voicemail saved and am willing to share with anyone who wants it
Robert Colby came across like a shyster.. Came back with 1/2 percent better rate, not worth proceeding.
The loan was funded OK with a lower rate than I had. The company promises a $50 bonus if you recommend someone who gets a funded loan through RateGenius. I recommended two loans that were funded and never recieved the money they promised. I wrote and called several times with no response from them. Cannot recommend a company that doesn't keep their word!
It worked out in the end.. Had some bumps in the road and it was kind of a pain. We had to get the paperwork redone because of a mistake (thank goodness it was before we saw the notary!) and we even received paperwork that wasn't for us and had personal information for someone else. We ended up with a great rate in the end, but it was more of a hassle than I would have liked and it made me concerned for my personal information.
They will run your credit without consent even if you don’t provide your social. I had 714 score at the time I applied and got declined even though credit karma kept nagging me to apply. There was no communication from them either, I had to call them to find that out.
