Can't Recommend Them. . .. Assume that since they keep spamming me after i got a refinance for my loan, that I would be overly-glowing. Was 'raped' by previous loan sharks (from credit Karma) and do appreciate their improving my interest payments. However; they rejected me, at first, due to my disability. Upper management DID get involved, eventually; & rectified the matter. Kudos for that! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE; DO NOT APPLY!!. I was directed to Rategenius via CreditKarma and I filled out the preliminary application; however, they put a hard inquiry on my credit; even though i did not provide them with my social security number; and the option to provide my SSN was optional on the application which i did not fill out; terms were not clear and they got access to my SSN through CreditKarma and did credit inquiry without my consent. Great credit = No loan I have great credit 756 and it took over a month to receive anything about my application. Got a letter stating my credit was good but they couldn't find a lender Wow really??? I'm Never late on anything!! Someone didn't try very hard.
LOWER MY RATE.. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT WAS A PROBLEM WAS THE FACT THAT BOTH LOANS WERE ON MY CREDIT REPORT EVEN BEFORE THE OLD LOAN WAS PAID.
Loan process was back & forth, saved $$ The loan process was drawn out because I had to continously request changes and confirmation on why things were in the loan documents but overall the process was fairly simple, I just chose to scrutinize the loan to make sure I knew what I was getting. Overall it was worth is as I got a good interest rate which saved me money.
