Great rate, lender has bad online UX.. The new loan went through and I have a much better rate. The lender has a poor online banking experience, but other than that all went well.
aweful hit my credit report with no follow up or feedback as to why denied.

WORSE EXPERIENCE BE CAREFUL - Worse company ever, my credit score was 730 and I specifically told the agent Trey my immigration status, he told me it was fine and that there were lenders thattake those specific cases. After one month of sending ANY information you could imagine they were asking, I received a text message telling me that they will not be able to approve it and my CREDIT SCORE WENT DOWNTO 700. Completely dissapointed about RateGenius, it was the worse decision contacting then, completely dissapointed.
Customer service Tried applying to refinance a car loan, got a reply just that they'll look into finding me a lender... not much went after that and just a dismiss of my application. Not a single email or phone call.
750 score didn't get great rate All I ended up with was a hard inquiry. Not worth it. Rate was not as advertised with a 750 rating.
Slow service, fake promises The value of my car is currently over $10,000, after the pre-qualification saying I was eligible, no one would offer me a loan without a hefty downpayment. On top of this, it is extremely difficult to get them to answer the phone.
BAD EXPERIENCE My credit score is 735. My payment history is excellent. Credit Karma recommended I apply for refinancing of my 2017 Hyundai. rateGenius came out on top reviews. I was denied credit and a hard inquiry on my credit knocked my score down by 3 points.
Auto Refinance That Credit Karma sends you notices to refinance your car throught Credit Genius (see the similarites in the name). I received 2 voicemails and 2 emails that I had full approval only to be told by Steven Madigan at Credit Genius that he doesn't know why I got those messages. So I email him his own recording telling me I have full approval. He then tells me that I don't and that the rate is higher, blah, blah, blah! What a bunch of SH-T! Now my credit has been "dinged".
