Terrible I got 2 unauthorized hard inquiries and no contact at all. Terrible.
Military and potential members beware.. Refuses to correct fraudulent loan attempt to credit bureaus. After attempts to resolve fraudulent issues with this company, I was hungup on by two employees. I have filed complaints with the BBB and CFPB.
Absolutely horrible Service and Employee what a joke RateGenius is! Geoffry Sterling, the employee who helped me, was so rude and disrespectful on the phone and became confrontational when i refused the gap insurance. This service is terrible and their emplyees arents much better, i would highly highly recomend using another service. Employees like this need to be firede becuase you have lost a paying customer today.
Absolutely horrible service!!!. The man who helped me was terrible! Geoffry Sterling was so rude over the phone when i refused gap coverage and proceeded to pressure me into telling him why and telling me that i "shouldnt be concered with my rate going up a few bucks... anyone can afford it". i highly recomned using a different loan finder because RateGenius, and their staff, are just one big joke. They will get you approved so you can fill a bunch of paperwork, never finalize the loan and then sell your information to companies that will call you for nonsense.
Bait & Switch I looked into getting a refinance loan through this company and at first they offered me a much better interestes rate. Once I was able to speak with Angelica she told me that since they had more details on my car that my rate was going to be 5% higher. She claimed that I was really underwater on my vehicle. I had done my research prior to applying and I knew exactly where I stood on my loan and if $800 difference makes me underwater than so be it. Waste of time I applied one week ago and have yet to hear a word from them. I have very good credit so you would think they would want my business. Forget it.
