This process is not as easy as it sounds.
Nothing happened
Terrible. Dishonest.. RateGenious contacted me about a pre-approved refinance deal. They had all of my automobile and current loan information already. At first the Bank that had the pre-aproved offer approved me for 10% more than the original pre-qualified offer. After several calls and multiple hits to my credit they found an acceptable rate. Upon giving them my VIN they all of a sudden realized the "trim package" level was wrong and disqualifed me for a loan. Had all of my information except trim package? Terrible experie... read more
Bad Experience!. I applied for loan and was accepted. all paperwork and contracts were emailed to me and I filled them out and got necessary signatures. I sent back overnight and then 2 days later I was called and said that I had to come up with a down payment. This was never mentioned during the application process or when signing all contracts. It appeared to be a scam. I showed it to a local banker and they determined the same thing. Stay Away!!

I was approved I was approved with great credit. I decided to go with Capital One instead because Rate Genius companies had bad rates, too many hoops to jump through, and bad customer service.
Auto loan They gave me a much better interest rate compared to what I had before!!
A Waste of Time and Inquiries I would just avoid this "loan search engine" as they will just add unnecessary inquiries without any results. I have around a 700 credit score and was looking to refinance at a better rate. They added inquiries and couldn't even find a single lender even though there are two banks locally and the current loan provider willing to lower my rates.
