Food was underseasoned, tasteless. Made with no love!! Will not return.
I was honestly very disappointed with the food and service the Redeye Grill had to offer. I understand that it was Christmas time and the hour that we went was definitely their most busy time but that doesn't mean that I should have to wait 20 minutes for a water. We arrived a few minutes early. The host said our table would be ready in a few minutes. A few minutes later, my husband checked again. We have two young children and had the theater after dinner. The host told my husband that it would be a few more minutes. When my husband asked for a firm response, the host said it was an art, not a science, and he couldn't guarantee when our table would be ready. Despite that, we were seated 5 minutes later. For a trendy NYC restaurant the service was awful. The waiter had no skill, and no coordination with the busboys. This restaurant may be past its prime as a premier NYC spot.
Very disappointed with our experience at Redeye Grill. My wife and I went there to get dinner before a play. The food was ok although overpriced for what you get. The service was awful. Redeye grill was one of my favorite places when in NYC but the last three times I have been there it has been very disappointing.
Very disappointed. Staff at check-in desk sweet and cordial. Reservation time was kept. But all downhill from there. Waiter seemed bored and totally indifferent. Looong time in coming. (Maybe too many tables per?) Couple to my right ultimately returned their food and left. service dropped the ball.... poor bussing and no coffee dessert had to ask waiter....... very busy
Horrible service and even worse food! The waiter told us the seafood was on sale and took forever to get orders in. We all were sick the next AM
Food has not maintained its quality in the 12 years we have been coming here. Lobster roll subpar. Service was ok not great.
