For a restaurant known for it's steak we were incredibly disappointed. At premium prices the 2 steaks we ordered were flavorless. The only highlight to the meal was the great service given by all.
food was terrible , there was a reduced menu with limited choices Service was slow used to go here a lot now I will not go back.
Very overpriced, not even a sm salad or piece of bread with the entrée.
It was probably the worst experience I have had in years. The food was horible,overpriced with extremly poor service
Unfortunately, the food at the RedEye Grill is quite ordinary. That is a shame because the room is large and lovely, the noise level energetic without being intrusive, and the service better than average. If only the food lived up to the rest of the experience.
Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Service was ok but not great. This used to be a solid place to take clients to when I lived in nyc 20 years ago, but not so solid any more...
Although a nice, comfortable room, the tables are pretty close together. The menu is superior except for the prices. Even by NYC standards the cost for three people was pretty steep. The food was good but not spectacular. The cocktails were pricey as well and highballs were skimpy on the booze. I. Would go back if for nothing else but the herb fresh cut fries.
We ordered the crispy artichokes and they were so crispy we couldn't even chew them. Our server said that was they way they were supposed to be. Everyone around us got bread at the start of the meal, our waiter forgot. Our drinks were great but it took us 3 requests to get lemon twists. Finally, we ordered the crab legs which were only slightly warm. Lastly, the waiter never came by to ask how the meal was. The service was good but not excellent like usual. I had asked for tartar sauce to accompany my Cod but it did not come with the fish, much later, after many reminders, after I was almost done with the entree The rolls were late too, and when they passsed arounb the frech cookies, we were just starting out main course, but he never returned.
