The restaurant was very busy. It seemed as though many people were in a hurry to get to the theater, we were not. It was a very rushed unfriendly experience. The food was overpriced for the average taste, nothing inventive. The staff was going through the motions with no expression or care about us.
Tables were VERY close together. It felt like we were sharing our dinner with the 2 tables on either side of us.
Indifferent and slow service. As a result, we had to ask the maitre d' to intervene, and to get to Carnegie Hall on time we had to forgo coffee and dessert. To apologize, they gave us end-of-meal glasses of Prosecco wine at no charge, but still not a great experience.

very poor service; meal order was served incomplete; waiter was non existent ; oysters were the worst I have had and certainly not what you would expect in NY at a publicized raw bar
Althought it was very slow last week for lunch, the food took forever to come...
Food was delicious, service was slow - waiter had too many tables to attend, otherwise - gracious. We were very cold - AC was too high.
