This location was supposed to give us an ***** laptop, but they acted suspiciously, took $50 from me, and refused to issue a refund. We also waited an extra week for the laptop, which we couldn't get right away. STAY AWAY FROM THESE WOLVES.

Rent a Center located at ***** Van ****, *******************************. The general manager that runs that store forgot her name(***** or ****) she blond, tall with glasses looks like a *****. I am having trouble paying my bill for rent a center. Now they are being VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Leaving me voicemails being rude. Calling me off random numbers and messaging me off random numbers being very disrespectful! I have saved the voicemail of the manager trying to be funny and I have the messages from the random number that texted me. They kept threatening me and leaving rude voicemails but what has happened today 2/6/26 IT IS NOT OKAY!
I have spent over $10,000 at this location and paid it off. I had to buy a stove and still owed $115 on a game system. I got sick and was out of work. Constant harassing calls, and then banging on my door and consistently ringing my doorbell. They said they came to take the stove and game and I told them I was sick and not able to deal at the moment and my husband would be by the next Monday to talk about the stove and it not working (supposed to be new). Well I have been a customer for over 10 yrs paid off multiple items couch kitchen table washer and dryer twice and more. Well I went to get a new couch and tv. paid half of it on the 3rd it was set on a month to month pay. But when I went to pay the other half on the 25th they had charged me another 200$ no explanation why I called the main branch they stated they do not charge late fees. Brought big bugs into my house broke my screen door didnt offered to fix it. Made me help. Deliver the material multiple times because they didnt have help to work very rude and disrespectful will not answer. The phone hung up on me. Told me not to come back and they were still charging me for the stuff that I was trying to return because I went somewhere else. Do not recommend.
Absolutely disgusting wilimantic rent a center the amount of HARASSMENT over the phone the calls 2-3x a day banging on my door every day you guys are that desperate for money because I'm having pregnancy complications and can't work and can't pay you RIGHT away? You guys are disgusting.

***** **** store manager of ********* AL location is extremely rude, insulting and unprofessional. I would like to be contacted about my experience and fellow friends of mines experience with said person at the store. I would leave less stars if I could. I will NEVER shop with Rent a center again after the series of events this person in LEADERSHIP conveyed to me.
