We were looking for a place to rent and Gavin was representing the house that we were interested in. Although we did not end up renting the house from him, we were thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and communication. He responded quickly and did everything in his power to accommodate our needs along with the homeowners. Great person and professional. Emily is amazing!. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She promptly returns phonecalls and texts. Common sense and competency are in short supply nowadays, but not with Emily. She even gave us a card and donuts as a housewarming gift! She's a class act.... It's ironic that this is called "Renters Warehouse" because nothing about it is for the benefit of the renter. The renter actually has a pretty bad experience. You'll notice that each and every one of the positive reviews here is on the owner side, and the many, many more negative ones come from the actual renters. Beware owners! I hired RW to see if they could place quality tenants faster than I could myself. Their advertising used my photos and my ad copy on the same websites that I was advertising on. In other words they added zero marketing value. As for results.....well, in a month, there were 4-5 showings (very low for this market). Have used Renters Warehouse for 3-1/2 years, with multiple brand new or like new properties. In that time, I've fired them from two properties and will be getting rid of them entirely next year due to the following issues: - Tenants offered are low quality and have not been carefully screened. Avoid Chris Mulher in the Denver office. Completely unprofessional. He was late to the showing. He didn't follow up and I had to reach out to him multiple times. He couldn't answer any basic questions about the property. He couldn't give a solid answer on any pricing. We applied for a property in Fort Lupton. Chris called at 730pm one night to let us know the owners of the property agreed to rent to us. He was was not understandable during the conversation. If I could give them a negative review I would. I'm writing this nearly 6 months post move out after taking them to small claims court for withholding my security deposit based on false claims. They completed my move out with photo evidence, and a checklist documenting the unit was "clean". A month later, I was told I would not receive my security deposit in full due to water damage in the unit, "standing water" as the homeowner notated. This is the worst rental management company. We own a house in Colorado and we don't live there, so we had to hire a management company. We should have found a new company to manage our property a long time ago. They have not been helpful, and they have made us loose money.
