I am a customer service *** and my company switched from ********** Mitel phones to Ring Central. From a perfect system to a broken system. Constant problems with calls dropping, bad connections, and various brands of headsets not compatible. This is not a good company for a call center. We are using Ring ****** for company calls and their other platform Ring CX for customer service. We need both systems and they do not talk to each other. But both ring at the same time and nobody is on the CX line!
I have been with RingCental for eight (8) years. They were great way back at the beginning. Don't know what happened but the service is extremely terrible today. Account managers change all the time. No one cares. The support system phone line these past few weeks disconnect and I can't get help. The chat box people are a complete joke and can't help. What happened to you guys? I've been a RingCentral costumer for several years and my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Throughout my time with the, their customer service has been completely unresponsive. Despite numerous attempts to resolve issues, I rarely received replies. On top of that, they continued charging me monthly; for services that were either not provided or subpar. RingCentral will not let you cancel the agreement even after you are told that you are on a month to month agreement! Then after I asked to cancel and they told me I would have to pay a liquidation fee that was the monthly fee for the term that was left on the agreement, they auto-renewed the agreement and now the fee is the monthly fee x 12! I've asked my credit card to stop payment but they told me that if they don't cancel the charges might still come through.
RingCentral has deceptive billing/contracting practices and is COMPLETELY unresponsive if you want to end service.Be aware RingCentral has a deceptive practice of billing at one time of the year and renewing your contract at another time of the year (which is rare in business), so if you are only looking at when you get your annual charge on your credit card bill, it's too late to cancel your service because you need to do that before your renewal date, which for me was 6 months later.It was a great service until I decided t... read more
RingCentral does not close accounts, but continues to bill former clients. The contact information they provide never routes through to someone that can help you get off their system; their account managers are unresponsive, and their service is trash.
Ring Central is QUICK TO SELL AND SLOW TO CANCEL. Their prices have been going up, they refuse to negotiate even though their prices are non-market prices. I was forced into paying for a second phone line when I did not need it because the renewal had already kicked in. Almost immediately after I was charged I told him I did not want to continue with the second phone line and I ended up paying for it. So today I signed up with Ring Central. I was quoted $119/per user annually. With 4 employees I'm thinking $480/year. I got the contract and it showed $720/year which I was told $240 extra was for fees. I'm like...okay. So I sign it then get a link to pay the annual and it came in at $886.70. Within one day the price changed 3 times and just to provide you some insight - they don't care - I cancelled it - I will never use them.
