Seems a like Zoom copy without the Zoom features Pros: I liked the ease of usage. It seems to be able to accommodate large number of participants (50+). Cons: There are many features available in the version I was using. For example it was impossible to change the background. I thought I was using Zoom when using this product - there does not seem to be much of a product differentiation. Overall: Overall I was satisfied but wished it presented a true differentiation from Zoom.
Great software if you need phone lines. Pros: Our business has over 50 offices and each office has multiple phone numbers. RingCentral allows us to have a database of all of our phone numbers, and also gives us access to features such as voicemail and call forwarding. Cons: We have noticed that occasionally there is a delay in the ringing, we believe from it transferring lines. Overall: Overall, RingCentral does exactly what we need it to do for our business.
RingCentral is a huge step up from a non-VoIP system Pros: We previously had an outdated phone system, and the RingCentral desktop software is a huge game changer for my office. We have so much more functionality than we've ever had, and the program could not be easier to use. Cons: I have limited experience with these types of programs, so there could be better options out there, but this one satisfies all of our call-based needs.
Excellent VOIP offering Pros: Very knowledgeable phone support, easy to deploy and solid infrastructure. I resell VOIP systems for a couple of different company’s and ring central is on my shortlist. Excellent selection of features. Cons: I have not yet found any cons to this service. Overall: Pleasent customer support and easy to setup devices.
User friendly interface Pros: Voice calls are pretty clear. I love how you can forward your calls to another number within the app. I love how ring central has the ability to transcribe your voicemails into text emails. Cons: Inconsistency across all platforms. Should really consider competitive pricing as there are multiple options available with the same ability. Overall: My overall experience with Ringcentral is neutral.
RingCentral Review Pros: This product is very similar to many of its competitors and it is easy to login and join a call with other people. Cons: When on a video call, it is very difficult to switch screens between users. When we have tried, the video feed freezes and will not update if users do not sign out and sign back on. Overall: it was good for basic conference calls, but for complicated video calls it is not as good.
Ring Central fax- Great for the price Pros: Ease of use. Easy to log in, find features. Address book is detailed. Reports are easy to find and search. Attaching docs is easy too. NO PAPER, no extra machine, no down time. Cons: the icon for sending faxes is so small, tiny really, it is hard to find sometimes. Customer services is adequate. I like the once a year billing Overall: Ring Central is a low cost faxing alternative to having fax machine in your office
Leery of This Provider Pros: Easy to use and set up but not easy to continue using. Plenty of good things built into this software. Cons: Very difficult to maintain connectivity on phone calls. The Group calling function also was very spotty. Overall: OK but I would not recommend this product to individual users or businesses due to connectivity issues and spotty call reception.
Gets the job done Pros: Our company switched to RingCentral a couple of years ago and it seems to work well for us. All of the necessary phone features are there like visual voicemail, call forwarding, conference calls, etc. We've also integrated the RingCentral Meeting service this year and it is a really nice tool to use.
