Very easy to use in the office and remote Pros: I've been using different parts of the service for years, it's always been reliable. I mainly use the fax feature, but had used the phone as well for years Cons: Can go down at times regarding calling, but sending faxes is always consistent. It's a good system. Overall: Positive, I've always liked ring central. We switched to Five9 for calls, but RC is my preference.
Calling made easy Pros: I like the ability to video chat. Being a company of nearly 1000 people calls for a lot of meetings and we recently transitioned from LifeSize which has been nice. Cons: There are a lot of features which is not a negative it just takes some getting used to. It can hold up to 50 calls I believe so there's a lot to it at times. Overall: Video conferencing in office has been an incredible feature and functions much like other phones I've used for a company.
RingCentral is perfect for our business! Pros: RingCentral offers tons of options including various call handling capabilities, text, fax, video chat and mobile/desktop app. The call handling and mobile app have been the best features for us. We can call from our mobile with our work phone number and not have to give our our personal cell numbers. After hours, if a client has an emergency, the call handling directs the call to our apps. Easy to Use and Inexpensive Pros: I like how they are staying ahead of the competition with the updates and ease of use. It makes things very easy for us to use at the office and is very convenient. Cons: I don't have many cons about this software. For the money, it is very convenient for any smaller company to use. RingCentral is Central to your workforce in calling Pros: Easy to use while at the same time being universal to install on mobile devices and desktop or notebook computers. Mac and PC included. Cons: The user interface could be more pleasing to look at. Great Tool! Pros: I liked the usability with RingCentral. I was able to change the phone number on caller id very simply and it was a great integration with Salesforce. Cons: The only complaint I have with RingCentral is being able to read or hear vm wasn't a simple process but it worked. Overall: i had a great experience with RingCentral. I definitely recommend it to others looking for a VOIP phone service.
Love The Fax Feature! Pros: As the title of my review suggests, definitely the feature to transmit facsimiles! While I haven't used the fax feature since WFH (but have used it many times prior), it is very convenient when being able to send faxes without having to access the company's large printer/scanner machine. Ease of use Pros: This software is very user friendly. Easy to communicate with our clients on both desktop and phone apps. Cons: I did not like that I had to download different apps for different uses (I.e. Ring Central meetings needed for video conferencing). I also don't like that I cannot easily mark unread a text on the RingCentral Phone desktop app. The Ringcentral Classic app allows that but the interface is much more difficult to understand and harder on the eyes
Ring central Pros: Ring central allows users to dial out from any device using preselected numbers. This was a life saver during this year and the increased amount of time spent working from home. The ability to link office products to ring central allowed for a seamless transition into using ring central for all meetings. Cons: The functionality of the software when using hard phones is lacking. While I understand the software is capable of so much it was a disappointment that the actual phone feel of it was lacking.
