Easy, and works Pros: I've used this software for a few months now. It is always easy to use and just works. It is reliable. Cons: The call quality could be slightly better. But I think a lot of that depends on the end users connection more than anything with Ring software Overall: Great. I would recommend to anyone looking to setup an easy call gathering.
Review for RingCentral Pros: I liked that I could make phone calls to my customers and receive calls from them as well. It's pretty straightforward. Cons: I did not like how difficult it was to transfer phone calls from my my team somewhere else in the world to get them to me. Sometimes the call would drop and we would have to call the customer back. Overall: It was not a good tool. I did not enjoy using it. It was easy to miss calls and drop customer calls that were trying to be transferred over.
Easy to Send and Receive Faxes Pros: I am able to easily send a fax from my e-mail, and include the cover letter as the subject line of the email. Cons: I do not receive any confirmation that the fax was sent successfully and received by the recipient. Overall: It is easy to use when it works. However, I have had instances where it doesn't work, and I am unaware until I call the individual to inquire if the fax was received.
All in one package Pros: It has everything you need to bring your small business to the next level. with reporting, answering options, menus, and conferencing. Cons: We have choppy service a couple times, but it could be due to internet issues. customer service is usually good, unless you want to cancel. Cancelling is not an easy task and can cause issues. Overall: RingCentral got us through when we needed a small ready to use product, it was reliable with multiple features that made us look bigger than we were.
RingCentral for Faxing Information Pros: I like how this software allows you to fax information over the internet vs a printer. It allows you to upload information from a scanner and has always been super secure. You can add a cover page as well so that the information can be directed at the intended recipient. I also like how easy it is to open both sent and received information directly through my computer. Cons: I can't really think of anything that I do not like about this software. It was fine until i tried to cancel Pros: It was convenient and for a while it offered a good promotion Cons: I did not like that it was hard to cancel. I remember having to call a few times to try to cancel but could not get through to get connected to a live human operator. I got fed up and canceled the credit card associated with the account to finalize end the subscription.
This is a nice phone system, no issues Pros: I never have any trouble using it. It's a set-it-and-forget-it kind of thing so I never have to worry about it. It's also easy to change to route to another number if someone is on vacation. Cons: We still get spam calls from time to time, which can be annoying, but I don't know if there's any way around it no matter the service you use. Overall: All in all it's been a good experience, we use it for many of our businesses.
Call in to cancel Pros: Seemed to have a lot of features, but we never fully integrated in the first 12 months. Cons: Never fully integrated across sales team. They make you call in to cancel, which bothers me. They are a technology company offering a tech solution, but they put in awfull steps that made me go from indifferent to their service, to actively disliking it. Overall: Not great. I didn't have any interaction with them until I decided to cancel.
Like having a landline - inside your computer and cell phone Pros: My company uses RingCentral for our entire staff. I like being able to answer my phone from wherever I am - no need to be in the office - or even the country! I also manage a team of sales people, so we use the recording feature in order to be able to play back and listen to their sales calls - highly useful for those time we need to play back a call to hear exactly what the lead said (or what we offered).
