"RC Review" Overall: Overall, Ring Central is a simple and easy communication tool that I would recommend.Pros: I have used Ring Central as a user for a little under a year. It is easy to set up and integrate with my other software. It has many features that I don't use, but love that they are available.Cons: Ring Central tends to be very glitchy. I do not use video usage because there is better software on the market for that purpose.
"Average phone system" Overall: Not too bad. The system has flaws that I wish would be correctedPros: I like the ring central faxing and desktop application. Super simple to use and user friendly. Also like the phone optionsCons: The system has bugs, I don't like how you transfer phone calls with it, humming noice on some calls
"RingCentral" Overall: Overall we have had a great experience with the softwarePros: Easy to set up and implement team members through 1 central software and provided a number to be contacted which connects to our own mobile or office extension. Records all calls to go back an monitor as needed as well and voicemails left. An isn't expensiveCons: We have not had any issues with the software or it's functionality. Depending on how many lines you need it can get expensive but we have not found that to be a problem.
"Easy communication tool" Overall: Overall a good product that works when it needs to.Pros: We use this for weekly calls with out of office folks. The software is free under a certain amount of time for the call.Cons: Video performance could be better, sometimes there are issues with certain parties being able to hear the audio when there are many groups on the call.
"Good application but not getting much use out of it" Overall: Good application, need for the application is just changing now that Skype, GotoMeeting, Webex, and personal cell phones abound.Pros: RingCentral is a well built application to manage desk phones for a small company. "Love love love" Overall: I absolutely love it. I use it to fax, keep up with team members when we can't be in the office and need to work from home.Pros: I really love the faxing feature! It is a life saver. All I have to do is scan a document to my email address from anywhere and I can fax. It automatically replies whether your fax was successful or not so you don't have to panic from not knowing if your fax made it to the sender. "Lots of features - good value" Overall: good experience - not 100% reliable but most of the time it works great.Pros: VOIP has come a long way in the past decade and we use RingCentral for everything. I love being able to easily book a teleconference when I'm booking a meeting through Outlook, and have it automatically reschedule as I make changes. "Good experience with RingCentral" Overall: My overall experience was very positive and I would recommend this product. We switched from one of the "mature" competitors in the market so we were worried about a downgrade. "Equivalent alternatives exist at a significantly lower cost" Overall: Telephone auto attendants have become somewhat commoditized in their pricing. It's beyond understanding then that Ringcentral would undertake a pricing revision that tripled the monthly cost of their SaS to our company. Perhaps they're contemplating a merger/offering and attempting to boost their value short-term.
