RingCentral Pros: It is a very easy to use Voip software, I love how it can be used on multiple devices, and ability to choose which number to display - direct line, office line, etc. Cons: It is a little more pricey compared to some other voips, but you pay for additional features.
The App is the Best Pros: I have a RingCentral phone at my desk but I also have it on my phone! I can make calls, text, listen to voicemails and anything else that I can do at my office on my phone. Cons: When I receive a call, the phone rings both on my phone (like a normal call to my cell phone) and a call through the RingCentral app. It is just a bit annoying because it then shows up two times in my call long on my iPhone.
Cloud based phone system Pros: What I like most about Ring Central is that you don't need hardware to use the system. Cons: The only con I used to have was with their softphone cutting off phone calls on my cell phone, but that has been resolved now by having it ring my cell I can answer calls without using the software and worrying my call will be cut off. Ring Central makes mobile office easy Pros: I can answer phones anywhere and it looks like I am in the office. I can see all the calls that came in and also see historical reports. I can route calls with special rules based on time, the number called, the number calling and more Cons: The interface is not as intuitive as it should be Overall: My experience with Ring Central has been very good. They have dedicated customer support that will solve your problem every time.
Great Product You don't miss important phone calls Pros: When all the staff is on the phone or with a customer, we do not miss important phone calls. Cons: No cons. When phones are busy it steps in like another employee. Overall: It is a great product. We had so many messages over the Holiday weekend.
RingCentral Pros: Very easy to use. No need to waste paper on fax machine, everything just comes through and can be downloaded right to the computer. Cons: Sometimes the fax number does not work but I don't think this has to do with RingCentral Overall: As a company trying to go paperless, RingCentral goes a long way. Many companies still require fax, but by using this app, we don't need a printing fax machine. Love just being able to download it to the computer to attach to emails or print if necessary.
Great phone option Pros: I like the features and functionality. I like that you can easily switch calls from your desk phone to your cell phone. Cons: It took a bit of time to get used to everything on the front end. I think more training offerings would help. Overall: Very functional and has lots of features.
we use Ringcentral for faxing Pros: Yes, there are people who still want to send and receive faxes. Rather than tie up a phone line, use Ring Central's fax service. It makes sending a fax quick and perfectly painless. The confirmation emails are useful. Ringcentral is also a great value. Multiple users in the office are able to share the service. Cons: Really nothing to dislike.. .. once in a while it does seem like the recipient's fax machine recognizes the fax as a junk fax and blocks it, but this is rare.
Takes some set up but works well. Pros: I love that you can text through the phone app, look up anyone's extension, pick favorites you call all the time, select the tone you have when people are calling in, and pick up voicemails right from your computer. And I love that you can do most of that from the phone app as well. Also very cool that you can fax from your computer as well using your own line. Helpful and friendly customer service as well.
