Why would anyone have a desk phone with RingCentral available? Pros: Absolutely loved this software and will recommend to future employers. It's a great way to streamline client communication. You don't have to give out your personal number but can route calls directly to your personal phone. Phone service with multiple options Pros: I like the capacity that it has to save and store all voicemail and numbers by date and time so there are no mishaps if someone accidentally deletes from their phone. I also like that you can check your records and recording remotely without needing a secure server or VPN. Cons: I do not like that I can't import messages or recordings to a line. Great Product! Pros: I like the ease of being able to log in from anywhere to adjust the phones, fax, check settings, etc. Cons: There is nothing I can say that I do not like about it.
Great way to communicate with the rest of the team Pros: It's very easy to use, just like any messaging apps. You can create groups and teams, easily share files and find old messages. Cons: It can be slow at times and there's still some bugs that need to be fixed. Overall: It helps our team stay updated with what's going on in everybody's projects, very useful.

Ring Central (the future phone) Pros: My favorite pro on Ring Central are all the lines are recorded and there is easy access to pull up those calls. You simply log into your account on ringcentral.com and all calls can be searched by day, time or phone number. You can save the recordings to your computer and send them where applicable. Great Telephone System Pros: So many features that allow the IT department full control on the phones. IT can order a new phone and have it shipped to any office in any location in a certain amount of time. Cons: It was a lot to learn which took me a while to get familiar with all the options and features I had. Overall: Great system i used at my previous job. I plan on looking into them at my current job when our lease gets closer to closing with our current provider.
We've been using it for years Pros: We’ve been among early adopters of Ringcentral, migrating from a PBX solution years ago, seeing all the improvements the service went through all these years. The fairly recent addition of Meetings was welcomed by our team, making is drop an alternative solution we’ve been paying for separately. Cons: Cumbersome support (you always have to go through your account manager to make simple changes to your account such as adding lines or making user changes.
