Easy Faux Office Line to Use Pros: I like that I can have an official office line as an app on my phone. It is easy to use and you can even text from the number, so that is a great option. Cons: What I don't like is that if this line rings on my app, it will interrupt me completely if I happen to be on my cell phone line and there is no way to decline the call or prevent interruption. Because of that I have to keep the Ring Central line on Do Not Disturb all the time.
Ring Ring Pros: Decent platform with a good amount of features. Cons: Can be pricey for most users. Sometimes difficult to use.
Highly Recommend this product for businesses Pros: As a recruiter, I make a lot of outbound calls (interviews, teleconferences etc) and this product suits all of my needs. What I like most is the sound quality. This product allows our company to use different phone numbers based on office locations, send text messages as well as receive email notifications for missed calls/voicemails. Cons: I've had some calls not come through; I've realized this when I received a voicemail notification when I was ready and able to take a ph... read more
Very Cost Effecient Way to Provide Seamless Phone Service for Local and Remote Employees Pros: RingCentral was very easy to setup for our local office as well as remote employees. We mainly went with RingCentral for this functionality. I could order and ship a phone to a remote employee or set up a phone number for remote employee without them needing a phone and all they would have to do is plug in the phone or log in to RingCentral to get going. Call routing and everything else was seamless to the remote employees. Cons: T... read more
worth every penny Pros: clear calling the ability to work remotely with call forwarding Cons: haven't found anything i dislike about this service
The devil is in the details Pros: Call quality is fine. Tier 1 support tries as best as they can. Cons: The sales team will promise you the moon in order to get your signature on the dotted line, but once they have you, there are headaches. Quoted price nearly doubled with "fees", provisioning workflow is not intuitive, and time is wasted on the phone with support for what should be a basic admin task. Feel nickle and dimed for features promised before signing (i.e. saml)
Replaces our traditional phone line Pros: It's much cheaper than our AT&T service and allows for far more customization than the traditional land line could possibly do. If you are still using a regular landline, you are missing out. Cons: Sometimes the customer service just reads a script so it may be frustrating.
Like most of the other RC options it's lacking Pros: Recordings work, they will also auto download to a linked cloud storage service and you can easily search recordings from the call log. Cons: The actual process of finding a certain recording can be arduous. If the call had been transferred or if the caller made multiple calls that day sorting the information out will be a process. RC only supports a very few set of cloud storage services and setting up your own SFTP will require some investment in hardware and setup. Over... read more
So many problems Pros: I'm not sure what I loved about Ring Central. If anything, the app was easy to use. Cons: I had so many problems when our company was using ring central. Customers couldn't hear me, calls were dropped, my phone never rang.
