Ring Central Review Pros: I used RingCentral for about 6 months for an internet marketing campaign I was doing. RingCentral was fairly easy to set up and use. I liked that I could have access to it as an app on my phone as well as on my computer. I mostly used it for calling and texting and it worked great. I realize there are many other features available as well that I never ended up using. I have recommended RingCentral to a few other people as well. RingCentral Office review Pros: That we can see any voicemails and text messages getting sent to our office phone number, and that Ring Central forwards voicemails and texts to our email addresses. Cons: Not much to dislike here - the only thing I can think of is signing in to begin your day - most days I don't need to sign in, I'm already ready to begin making calls. Overall: We have benefited from having after-hours calls/texts e-mailed to us, which we can choose to follow up during after office hours if we choose.
RingCentral Office - VoIP Pros: The ability to have an office number without an office phone system. Cons: I do not like that you have to go through the app for voice messsages
Great customer service! Pros: This has been my favorite phone system and easy to use! Cons: I hope they can add new features in the future.
Great idea and tool, but terrible customer service and a glitchy system Pros: It’s great to have communications centralized within one piece of software. Tracking all of this information as well with calls, meetings, etc. is very useful. Cons: System sometimes doesn’t agree with other things in place and causes a glitch and/or difficulty in setting up services. Customer service isn’t the greatest and takes a long time to resolve the problem as well as sometimes not helping at all.
Less than Practical, Annoying Features Pros: I liked the idea of how it was supposed to work for our agency. Unfortunately, it seems to have over promised as a product and definitely under delivered. What I DO like about the product is that I'm able to check voicemails from my email, which is easier than going through a keypad system to access them. use it instead of stationary phones Pros: Our company switched to RingCentral s a part of cutting costs plan. It works ok, not super intuitive. There has been quite a learning curve. Their support is good though. Cons: Nothing major but small hiccups and frictions. For example, when you go to a user profile there is no easy way to add him or her to your contacts. really?
RingCentral sets the bar Pros: Fairly easy to use, and pretty reliable service. Voice quality has gotten much better now, close to perfect. Cons: Selection / availability of hardware phones at a reasonable price is slim. Sending faxes can't be done outside of the RingCentral Phone app (can't do it in the RingCentral/Glip app). Attempting to merge the two is still lacking in a lot of areas. Ring Central Review Pros: I use this software primarily for incoming and outgoing fax services and appreciate that I have option of either using an application for my desktop or checking messages through the online system. Cons: The application will often have failed sent messages more often then the online program. The faxes will sometimes go through slower as well.
