use it instead of stationary phones Pros: Our company switched to RingCentral s a part of cutting costs plan. It works ok, not super intuitive. There has been quite a learning curve. Their support is good though. Cons: Nothing major but small hiccups and frictions. For example, when you go to a user profile there is no easy way to add him or her to your contacts. really?
RingCentral sets the bar Pros: Fairly easy to use, and pretty reliable service. Voice quality has gotten much better now, close to perfect. Cons: Selection / availability of hardware phones at a reasonable price is slim. Sending faxes can't be done outside of the RingCentral Phone app (can't do it in the RingCentral/Glip app). Attempting to merge the two is still lacking in a lot of areas. Ring Central Review Pros: I use this software primarily for incoming and outgoing fax services and appreciate that I have option of either using an application for my desktop or checking messages through the online system. Cons: The application will often have failed sent messages more often then the online program. The faxes will sometimes go through slower as well. RingCentral for Office Communication Pros: Easy to communicate with other people in office. RingCentral also makes it easy to dial out of the office without assigning a call-out number. Cons: Once switching over to RingCentral it became extremely difficult to park calls or place customers on hold. Not bad but could be better Pros: The desktop application is easy to use and I really like mobile app. Cons: Searching for call recordings is clunking and could be much easier to use. Overall: I have had trouble getting the help I need from their customer service. Overall the software does what it is designed to do but it could be better.
Best Call recording software! Pros: One thing that's important before you purchase RC is that you should have a dependable internet connection. Ring Central calls Pros: I like that I can store contacts specific to my job in RingCentral without having to save them in my phone. Cons: There are several times the connection isn’t good and my call will either not go through or go through and the person I’m calling can’t understand me. Great option for faxing Pros: We used Ringcentral solely for faxing. Frankly, it's the only program that we use. It's a no brainier. Simply open your email and Enter the info and your already to fax. Faxes can also be schedule for a specific time to send. Very helpful. Cons: The plan we use is only For attachments up to 20mb. Overall: Our clients have never complained about our use of Ringcentral so I think they must be doing something right.
