Robert the tech has been supportive since day one in treatment and always motivated me to keep progressing. I feel the staff truly understands what its like to go through treatment. Overall he has been one of my favorite TA's during my stay at River Oaks. Its been tough being here through the holidays, but they have offered plenty of activities and things to keep us busy like crafts and holiday meals, visitations, and Christmas tree decorating. Thank you Robert for truly caring about us.

I have good conversations with the staff who are very compassionate and take time out of their shift to check in with me and make sure Im doing ok. They let me know they care like Tarshay who pushed me to keep attending gruops and improving myself. Im glad I had her to encourage me because it has payed off. I feel like I have grown so much in dealing with things like my anger, grief, and isolating myself. It means a lot to me that she not only too her time, but used her caring nature to inspire me to do better.

Mrs. Glenda in the kitchen always makes sure everyone has food even if they were late or last in line or not. She is very friendly and polite and she always makes positive conversation when serving you in the lunch and dinner lines. She wont let you go without food and does whatever she can to accommodate.

Nurses are funny and sweet and super hard workers. I think every place should have nurses on staff like Courtney because she makes me feel so comfortable every time I see her. The womens community appreciate her sweet demeanor and her excellent customer service.

My experience with the medical staff has been great. Kerwyn the nurse is very attentive. Every time I see him he is extremely courteous and friendly. He is not just kind to me, he is kind to everyone. All the med passes he does are so efficient and I never have to wait. He handles himself well under pressure and deserves to be recognized.

The men's groups in the morning is one of my favorite meetings, Cristina the therapist runs them and she was so nice to set me up with EMDR therapy to help address some of my traumas before I leave. I have been able to address so many issues while here and learning new tools to help me cope in more healthy ways. Im so grateful for everyone who has helped me along the way, I couldnt have asked for a better therapist.

My after care appointments and everything need like my documents for my court appearance have been taken care of by my case manager Veronica who is amazing! She made sure I had all the documents and letter I needed for court and set up all my aftercare and medical and doctors appointments. Im going to see my psychiatrist when I leave here and I dont have to worry about finding one because she already made sure it got done!

My room is kept spotless and clean. The towels and linens are always changed, Isabella the housekeeper comes by every day and works my building cleaning all the rooms and sitting areas. Its been great service so far, much better than I could have ever expected and way better than any other place Ive been, the facility is huge and is set up like a hotel. Highly recommend.

Everyone has gone out of their way to help. I was missing some clothes from the laundry and from my luggage and he helped me find them. He also helped supervise the Christmas cookie decorating activity by setting up and letting everyone in the cafeteria to get started putting out all the icing and sprinkles. We listened to music and all went around and shared what we were grateful for. It was a nice night with the help of staff like Adrian.
