Went to this restaurant for my birthday and the server was terrible. I barely sat for 45 minutes and was pushed out by the manager because there was another party that needed to be seated. DIDNT EVEN GET THE BIRTHDAY DESERT THE SERVER WAS STATED HE WOULD BRING OUT. meanwhile other tables who were seated prior to my arrival still were at their table. Manager said he would take care of me next time I came in. He removed 2 drinks from the bill. Been to many steak houses in Reno while the food was ok I wouldn't go back to this r... read more

My fish was tough and overcooked and lacked flavor. Cocktails were too sweet.

Service was slow and pretentious. Food some food arrived lukewarm.

Made reservations which is good. Checked in 15 minutes early and was the first to check in. At 5pm the lady started seating people who just walked up. There were three couples who were there early and didn't get seated first. Very poor service seating people with reservations later then couples who checked in first.

food was average at best, service was poor to fair, didn't have 2 of the appetizers we wanted. ribeye steak was bland and had sinew and gristle that I don't expect from a $47.00 steak. The french bread was very good but we received 1 piece at a time for a grand total of 2 pieces. We had crumbs on the table from the crunchy bread crust and waiter or bread server didn't come to clean it up. Never experienced this at a supposed 4 or 5 star restaurant. The ribeye was cafe style, thin and without flavor, potatoes bland, nursing home bland and dry. Wife had scallops, very very good, excellent job. I think it’s called a steak house? Failed on every level, will never be back.

First off, they sat us at a table that hung halfway into the entry way, and they would not change it. Felt like I was eating in a train station. (They crowded in one too many tables) At that price, I expect ambiance! this used to be a favorite restaurant, however, they have cut back the menu, and offer limited, "basic" food => steak, chicken, salmon,... I had a ribeye and my date had the filet mignon; nothing special in taste, presentation or quantity. Sides were blasé. Price was high.

Aweful server and the food was poor quality. Not only did my husband not get the filet he ordered, the waitress did nothing about it, and then, didn’t celebrate his birthday. They have gone way down hill. I would never return. Most items were “not available” and when asking the server about new selections, she stated “I dunno” and “it’s not that good.” I would not recommend this place to anyone.

For the prices they charge I expected more than mushy carrots and canned mushrooms. This place is not worth the money.
