We arrived for our reservation and were seated immediately. However, we sat at our table for 15 minutes before I asked someone walking by if we had a server. It was not until then that we had someone come to our table to offer us something to drink. The food was great, but very poor service. Not sure if I will go back.

Problems with wine. Tasted like vinegar, returned 1st glass and 2nd glass no better. Bottles had obviously been open for weeks yet they still serve it. Waiter was not very attentive. A lot of screaming babies next to us, no other tables available, extremely loud. Ordered rare received a medium steak.

We waited for an hour between the salad course and main course. I was about to ask for the check and go somewhere else when our food came. I asked to speak with the manager (which is something I completely hate to do) and he apologized and took half our items off the bill. It was a very nice gesture but our evening was now an hour behind schedule. I understand busy but a Saturday night at a fine dining establishment should be at full staff and ready to go. I ordered Scallops, my son ordered Salmon, my daughter ordered Chicken and my wife ordered Lamb. The Lamb (the entire entree) was served to us cold. My wife didn’t end up eating much of it. It was fatty, and cold.
For the price, I believe there are better restaurants, even in the ROW, where you can have a better dinner. Actually, I believe you can find a better dinner for less money in many restaurants in Reno!

I returned the salad it was not edible, way too much vinegar. The waiter was excellent he asked if I wanted another one, but I did not. A bread lady walks around with a basket of bread so you have to wait for her to come around again before you get more bread. What's wrong with having bread at the table so you can enjoy your drink while waiting for the food and enjoying the ambience? I don't believe that is a good touch at all. I was not impressed with the food.

This was my 3rd and most likely last time dining at Roxy as the last two visits have been unremarkable at best. At this price point the Harrah's Steakhouse or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse are better options.

Service was slow. Food was cold. Cocktails were not good. I was embarrassed to serve this to business clients. One just rejected their meal all together. The meat was leather and potatoes cold.

There were eight of us in our party. Three were happy with there dinners and five were not. The restaurant was under staffed and the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear members of our party. One member of our party was charged $16.00 for a cocktail!!! The eight of us have eaten at Roxy for several years during the Italian Festival, this however will be our last year. Barbara Bargiacchi
