Waited a long time to be seated - no one at reception. Waiter was slow and inattentive. Steak was cold. Presentation awful - just blob of steak on cold plate. Didn’t get sides right. Very disappointed.

We were celebrating our anniversary (39 years). We decided to go to Reno and enjoy a relaxing weekend and have a nice dinner at the Roxy. We arrived and were seated right away. Our waiter was very nice and placed our order. First I ordered a 14oz steak medium well and my wife ordered a 7oz steak medium well also. My steak was rare very rare and my wife’s steak was very dry. We loved the food & atmosphere but the service was bad. We were the 1st seated & the last served. Everyone around us was attended by the same waiter but we didn’t get the same attention the others did.

Food, although good, is certainly not worth the prices charged. $73 For a steak with no sides and a $24 salad. Can’t blame Covid, Iran or anything else for the prices they charge. I live here in Reno and thought we’d eat here before a concert. Not again

Roxy's has excellent food and the coziness is great. My husband and I shared the 10 oz filet and two sides. We were full and satisfied. The wait staff forgot our bread which Roxy is known for it's bacon cheese bread. We had to ask for it. We ordered ice tea and had to ask twice. The main waiter kept trying to get us to order from each category and didn't stop talking long enough to see if we had questions. I think if we had a different waiter we would have rated Roxy's higher.

We had a group Of 7. Two tables were pushed together and they were two different heights. A person was sat right where the tables met on both sides. Food wasn’t great and the service was terrible. The waitress would disappear for long periods. Very disappointing. We won’t be back. The Pointers

french onion soup-way too salty. My husbands lobster was undercooked and stringy.He never ever compains at a restaurant but the manager came around to ask how everything was and my husband just said I dont think the lobster was cooked completely.The manager just said thank you for the input.Didnt offer to take it off the bill or to cook us another lobster tail.Nothing. The food was not good. The salad was drenched in vinaigrette so you could only eat the top. The escargot was under seasoned and the garlic was old, resulting it just tasting like snails in butter. The paella rice was soggy and the sauce was again very under seasoned and just tomato. The chicken pieces were rubbery erasers and there was nothing seasoning the “lobster tail”.
