Terrible!!!! Never get this coverage. They will deny everything. They are so much worse than the health insurance industry. My tire was pierced by a nail while I was driving and they are saying that they will not cover it because the NAIL doesnt have worksite damage. They are saying that its a pristine nail, which is also complete bull because the nail has no head. So apparently they are saying that I put a nail in the tire of a car I bought 6 months ago, I guess? Save your money, because it this was a useless purchase
On August 8th 2025, I took a 2014 ******** into a ********* dealer for a oil change. At the time I mentioned that the car seemed to have developed a little rougher Idle at start up, and a very slight ticking sound from the engine area in the last couple of weeks. The dealer proceeded to inspect the car. They informed me that they thought the car has a lifter issue and advised me not to drive the car. You pay for a service to cover you in and unexpected situation and they do everything in there power to **** you off and not follow through. And with all the reviews, I feel like the BBB is also negligent for not holding this business accountable. I had an accident in the beginning of June 2025. Horrible, I spent ***** dollars on tire and rim warranty, I get several nails in my tires, first few I got plugged but after a while I wanted new back tires since I paid for this warranty that covers road hazard like nails in tires they denied my claim saying its not road hazard ? I put in a second claim and they denied again . I paid for gap insurance through this company on August 9th 2024 my Truck was totalled when another vehicle trailer hit my truck 1 year later on August 13th I started my claim they asked for more and more paperwork including a copy of the gap contact. Didnt even go through with signing up for safeguard because one of your DISGUSTING agents I talked to on the phone. I got a letter in the mail instructing me to call them and get everything set up before the temporary (?) ID or whatever expired. I believe his name was ****** or something. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Our vehicle was totalled in a total loss house fire on 3/08. We had to wait to start the gap coverage to initiate until our regular insurance paid out, the week of 4/25. We are now going into month 3, and have had to make additional car payments this entire time, just for SafeGuard to send the check to the wrong address for the lienholder, because they do not keep up to date records (or know how to read letterheads). Essentially, it pays the difference if your insurance settlement doesn't cover the outstanding loan balance.
