I am having an issue with my system's recording abilities and have requested to speak with a manager at Safe Haven four times. Each time I've been told he will call me back but it hasn't happened yet. Once a different person called me and I was transfered to someone else who still could help me. My system stops recording but isn't freed up to record again until the 1st of the next month, even after old videos are deleted as it says on the website. Your company solicited my son who is blind. The sales person let him to believe that the Homeowner's Association would pay for the system and there was no cost to him other than the $46 monthly fee. He sold him every option available including the upgraded touch screen. A touch screen is useless for a blind person. It is shameful that he took advantage of a trusting person. I have absolutely nothing good or positive to say about Safe Haven Security as an ADT Dealer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. This has been one of the worst experiences since moving to this state and buying this house. Our salesman, Chase swore that we could call him for anything, and he would take care of us. I guess that had a time limit because we called today to see if he could resolve and issue or even point us in the right direction between either ADT or Safe Haven since they were sending us back and forth. This company is a scam. They didn't install what the salesman said we were getting in the sale, the technician performed a complete sham of the installation and when the keypad went bad even under warranty they charge to go out and fix it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL A COMPLETE SHAM
I bought my home in November 2021 and was informed of a credit towards equipment with a 3 year contract. Long story short the sales rep came into my home unmasked w/o taking necessary Covid preventatives. My fault as well, because I allowed the rep to enter w/o taking precautions and he in my face demonstrating services. Here is the nuts and bolts of this complaint I have. I relocated selling my previous home. ADT tried to set up service for the buyer before the sale of the home was completed causing a problem when the new home owners were trying to get setup which also caused me a problem. I received a call from SafeHaven telling me the new homeowner couldn’t set up an account until mine was cleared and they were now locked out for about 30 days. 🤨🤨🤨. Safe Haven is a joke and a rip-off (at least in the Saint Louis area). Avoid them as there are other alternatives. They do not honor their 6-month money back guarantee. Customer service gives the vibe that they do not give a care. I recently switched to GoAdobe which has equipment that is a seventh of the cost of ADT/SafeHaven. Also, even though Safe Haven has neglected me as a paying customer, I am still stuck in the three-year contract paying for something monthly that I am not using. This company is a Fraud. There sales people lure new home owner into signing there service and later on never respond if you ask them to cancel within first month. If you cancel later you get a notice that you signed up for 3 years and charge you full price. I strongly feel ADT should cancel there license as Authorized dealers. Never subcribe their service. Bunch of crooks running this company.
