Here is the nuts and bolts of this complaint I have. I relocated selling my previous home. ADT tried to set up service for the buyer before the sale of the home was completed causing a problem when the new home owners were trying to get setup which also caused me a problem. I received a call from SafeHaven telling me the new homeowner couldn’t set up an account until mine was cleared and they were now locked out for about 30 days. 🤨🤨🤨. Safe Haven is a joke and a rip-off (at least in the Saint Louis area). Avoid them as there are other alternatives. They do not honor their 6-month money back guarantee. Customer service gives the vibe that they do not give a care. I recently switched to GoAdobe which has equipment that is a seventh of the cost of ADT/SafeHaven. Also, even though Safe Haven has neglected me as a paying customer, I am still stuck in the three-year contract paying for something monthly that I am not using. This company is a Fraud. There sales people lure new home owner into signing there service and later on never respond if you ask them to cancel within first month. If you cancel later you get a notice that you signed up for 3 years and charge you full price. I strongly feel ADT should cancel there license as Authorized dealers. Never subcribe their service. Bunch of crooks running this company.
A representative came out late one night stating he was coming out per our request. We had not requested any such visit. He did not leave any information or contact numbers. They did not explain the contract in full and they did not provide a copy of the contract for over a month. Our door connections have already fallen off. Poor quality, unprofessional, unethical, and do not provide very good customer service. WOULD NOT RECOMEND>
I won’t even give you guys a single star. You are the worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered with. You lied to the customers and never informed of the services and products when you are about to purchase the equipment. They misled you and never to tell you that there customer support and technical support are the worse over in a history of the United States! Please be aware and I hope that customer opens their eyes in order to fall for these unethical and unprofessional people and the company.
This company installed my system in January. When I went to make changes to the specs, I learned that I don't have ANY access to my system. I can't change anything! I called ADT to get assistance, and ADT can't even access it directly; they have to access it remotely. I have called twice, left messages, and got absolutely no response. Do NOT use this company for your security! Go to ADT directly.
This is a very unprofessional business. I tried to talk to a supervisor and no one was available. We were working at our house at 8:00 at night and someone drove up in a ragged old car and said he would give us ADT for for free except for the monthly fee of $55. My husband said if you are installing it for free then sign us up. The sales rep left without giving us any contact information or paperwork of telling us what we were getting. This company is run by criminals. I signed up to secure my home and detached garage. The sales guy promised everything would be secure. The tech came out and gave me the high pressure 7 hour sales pitch like others have mentioned, and then only installed 2 sensors in a garage with 3 doors and 7-8 windows.
