If you are having trouble with them like I am, call ADT at 1-800-238-2727 and make a complaint against the dealer like I did. After talking to ADT if many complaints are made they can be dropped and changes will be made quickly. Also spread the word. 1. They make false statements to get in the door. Neither my housing development, insurance, nor title company was under obligation to tell me about this magical $2000 deal that doesnt go away just because the rep leaves my house. Would leave 0 if I could. We have been scammed by this company into getting locked in a contract. Just imagine, within 5 days of the installation date we had to pay $1870 because we wanted to cancel, and the reason we wanted to cancel was because of how bad their equipment and their service were and we didn't even get everything we paid for. If I could give no stars I would. ADT and their stupid miputlating ass partner company SafeHaven Security -ADT Authorized Dealer can go to hell! They scammed us thinking we were switching from apartment to our house security and instead of switching they started a whole new contract and I can not get out of it! I’m pissed a waist of time and money! Overrated for a system that does not work!

The rating that I was forced to submit is not an accurate depiction of what the rating should be. I wanted to rate with 0 stars, but it would not allow me to do so. Instead, I was forced to rate with 1 star, which is too many stars. Quite possibly the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. Hours into days just to get a call back to speak with someone about any issues that need attention. Case in point, alarm keypad lost power. Called Safe Haven for direction or to send out a tech. I had a very bad experience with my Safehaven contact Gayle Draper, and I won’t even elaborate on her attitude, except to mention that she actually said that I did not have to like her, but she was still going to be my contact. Several smart home items came with the new home I just purchased, and she was my point of contact to get all that set up. At the beginning of my experience the sales representative Sawyer Granger he very attentive and trusting. He followed up with me from the building of my home to the service installation. Through this experience he gave me all the benefits of using their services and reassured me there was no contract or additional fees. My builder was even giving us a $500 credit to go towards this service. After having their service for a few months I became dissatisfied with my experience. I feel like I was scammed by Safe Haven with a contract and system that is not compatible with my home. Alarm system is not functioning with WiFi and the agents are unprofessional and I am being told I can not cancel service I paid for. I have had it for 2 weeks. A waste of money and time. Chris Grantham (Spokane, Wa) was our sales rep. He was super pushy, cussed a lot, keep talking about how much he money he made, and pushed me into applying for a new venture for ADT. I am happy with the services that we are getting with ADT, but we had a really uncomfortable experience with him.
