Worst experience ever. I ordered a limited edition Les Paul which was in stock. When rest of my purchases arrived but no guitar I contacted Sam Ash, after a few weeks of back and forth I had to back ordered another one and was told it would be a 6-8 weeks turnaround. 8 weeks later the guitar arrived and looked used. Won an auction that included the gig bag. It was not shipped with the guitar. I got no response from the company.
The PRS P20E I purchased was supposed to be new but I received it in a taped up box with a serial # that did not match the guitar serial #. The strings were corroded and dead. The fret board was discolored like it was dirty or sitting in the sun. I had to change the strings and clean and oil the fret board. I am very disappointed and would not buy or recommend anyone buying from SamAsh again.
When something is listed as "new" don't send a beat up old used product.
Ordered a guitar on back order knowing it could be awhile..waited 15 months to receive my order. Don't get me wrong, the guitar is great, but customer service is absolute trash. Phone calls ignored, emails ignored. When I periodically managed to speak to someone via phone, they were oblivious to the order status and snippy and rude. Sam Ash used to be great, but in my opinion the customer service is terrible and you should only go through them as a last resort

Sam Ash shipped to the wrong item to me twice. I’ve been talking to customer service for two weeks, and they still haven’t spent a return label.
The deoxit spray you sent is not the can that you show in the online photo. I wanted the can with the original nozzle, but you sent me the can that leaks and wastes the contact cleaner. Btw, this contact cleaner is very $$$ and now I own the can that will leak/waste it.
I wanted to give you no stars. I ordered a Yamaha PSR-EW 425 portable keyboard. Your salesman told me that you had one display model, which I said was acceptable. I received a Yamaha PSR-EW 410, which we never discussed. He then told me that there were no 425's in stock! I was told to return the 410 and, when Sam Ash received it, he would see what was available - instead of finding a suitable replacement for me immediately. I am just returning everything.
