I purchased a guitar and a stand. They never sent the guitar but sent the stand. When it arrived with no guitar I emailed SamAsh and was told they see it didnt ship and could not tell me why. After another week and me sending a few more emails, I got an email saying that the item I purchased is now on back order and I would be refunded in a week or 2. Thanks for the stand I bought but pretty useless w/o the guitar. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for a refund and the guitar is now also sold out on all other sites. Worst experien... read more

The wiFi adapter Boss for my Katana Bass amp was send quickly from Sam Ash…. It did not / has not worked for two weeks now I have been trying to get Boss to respond to my technical support requests…. I don’t know if it does nor work, and updating the amp and software is a nightmare, and I am a computer programmer…. They just keep referring me to the Boss’ technical support website for help. The Tama Iron Works Studio low profile boom stand was advertised as open box. The price was $20 less than new. The stand arrived in the original box, loose, and no packing. Every piece of the stand's individual parts were scarred to bare metal in places. I've purchased several new Tama Iron Works Studio stands packed properly. The stand was just thrown into an open box and shipped. Sam Ash was quick to issue a refund, but I've since avoided several open box Sam Ash items. Train your shipping department.

Hire some reps that aren’t assholes. Both reps suggested I had second rate credit when I asked about combining cash with my credit line. Neither of them seem like they even cared if I bought anything at all. I will NEVER buy anything from Sam Ash. If you want a rock solid experience - give Sweetwater a call. They’ll treat you like family. They have reps that actually care about the customer.

Send another bass just like it undamaged, this, the last one you will be getting back because your packaging screwed up the bass! Totally unprofessional!

Bought a cymbal thru eBay and it was listed and sold as "new" but when it arrived it clearly wasn't. The seal on the box was cut and taped over. The cymbal in the box was out of its bag and bubble wrap. The cymbal was smudged with handprints and was slightly keyholed. Very obviously NOT the new item that was listed. I'm only using it for practicing so I didn't get all Karen about it but it was pretty disappointing to not receive what I thought I paid for. Its been more than a week now that I received a damaged bass I ordered and I have called customer service right away after opening to find a problem. I told the person I first spoke to about my dissatisfaction and was supposed to hear back, which I did but after I can't send pictures of the damage so it took some days before a friend sent in a picture for me.
