customer service needs much work. I spent 45 min. or more, trying to solve a problem with a purchase. 40 minutes was in waiting for someone to pick up the phone!!!!

I ordered speaker cable and dust cover on 11/02/2021 with 2nd day air shipping. I waited and waited everyday until my order arrived on 11/08/2021. Really??? Is that the service for 2nd day air shipping???? I really need the package on 11/07/2021 Sunday. That was the reason I bought the 2nd day air shipping. Really disappointed.
I preordered a product and it showed up. I can’t complain about that. My issue was that I never received a receipt for the purchase when I preordered it, no email regarding when I would get it, and then no email when it shipped. It suddenly showed up with no warning. Sam ash sure has sent me plenty of ad emails since I ordered, but never any update about my order. The email for the survey was the closest thing to an email about my order I received.
I was trying to find a DW throne that was really hard to find. Charlie at the Hollywood Drum Store found one for me and shipped it to me in two days......
Actually who make feel very bad on this store was the manager, so I'm never going back to there.
Ordered new drum throne back rest. A day later a sales rep called and said they don't have a new one but had an open box. I received the backrest and all was good but it had no screws to connect the seat to the backrest. I emailed and called the sales rep on and off for 2 days and no reply. Just poor customer service, will NOT order anything else online from them.
I ordered a Fender Precision Bass. You sent me a Fender Stratocaster. The label on the box even clearly said ‘Strat’. I took a day off work to wait for FedEx just to get the wrong item. So, I immediately filed a return on eBay. 3 days (!) later I received an automated reply with a shipping label. I had no way of getting to a FedEx location, so I called Sam Ash support and arranged FedEx pickup at my house. My guitar was shipped in a giant box too big for it, with literally 2 pieces of packing foam. It wasn’t secured at all, just banging around in there. I opened it immediately assuming there had to be some damage. Somehow there wasn’t but wow, I’ll never buy anything from you guys again. Zero care put into packing a GUITAR, a guitar btw that should also be mentioned, didn’t come in a case…
