I bought a used Taylor guitar that was described as "excellent" with a slight defect on the top which "couldn't be photographed." When the guitar arrived it had two large deep, darkened gouges in the top that had tried to be fixed, which I easily photographed. When I called to complain that the guitar was not "excellent" I was told- "we can agree to disagree." 1) False advertising. 2) Terrible customer service. Never use SamAsh!
If the product is not in stocks you should say so before you take my money. This was the start of a snowball of stress. I still haven't been refunded.
I ordered a children's drum set from my daughter. This was her main gift for Christmas and the only things she asked for specifically. Mistake number one I ordered online. Mistake number two I waited till Christmas morning to open the package. The box was heavily taped up but I didn't think anything of it because I assume they inspect it before it leaves the warehouse. Shipped a Gibson SG with no packaging around the neck. Arrived broken. Later sold me a new Catalinbread pedal, but it was obviously very used and not functioning correctly. Those were my only two purchases. They did issue refunds without hassle. Still, never again.
Package was never delivered. SamAsh encouraged me to attempt to resolve it with eBay, then stopped responding to my messages. Completely unprofessional.
Horrible experience that will be my last as a customer with Sam Ash. Bought two "new" cymbals online that sell for $650+, they sent one floor model that is heavily used (excessive fingerprints that would take me years to produce, if ever/multiple scratches around circumference of cymbal). Called and asked for what I paid for, NEW cymbal in manufacturer bag. First customer service rep was a sleepy guy who sounded like he needed a nap who didn't help at all. You can do everything better. Not advertise products on your website that are not available. For my Package order, not cancel the main item, but ship smaller accessory items. Not charge me the full amount of the original order, but only send me accessory items. Not require me to go to a fedex store and return accessory items. REFUND MY MONEY!!! THE ACCESSORY ITEMS HAVE BEEN RETURNED, BUT I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED MY $298 Yes, please contact me, this is wrong and needs to be corrected immediately.
Item showed in stock yet it was not. Order had to be cancelled and reordered. Once item arrived it did not work and will need to be returned to a store. It ruined a gig. I will likely not trust again.
I was looking for a specific PA system on eBay ,and spotted a really good deal that happened to be from Sam Ash . I made the purchase,and the item was delivered 2 days earlier than anticipated ( not straightforward at 52 lbs) I will go directly to Sam Ash from now on.
