Purchased Hartke TX600 online. Was given tracking number and 3 days after due date still not delivered. Called Sam Ash and explained problem. They called carrier and unit delivered next day. Thanks for Sam Ash follow up!
I purchased a $1500 drum kit online (Tama Starclassic). It arrived (late) with a small but integral part missing. I got through to customer service and got a case # and an assigned customer service rep. For 3 days I called and emailed the customer service rep asking for an update with no response back. Finally, I just went online, found the part and ordered it myself essentially doing their job. I won't be using Sam Ash again. I never thought I'd say this but I've had better service at (gulp) Guitar Center.
billed twice for same product and have yet to see credit. web services seems woefully understaffed and not responsive.
I ordered a speaker online and ship to the store. No one can tell me what happened to the order and where is it. The track the order didn’t work for many days and now it says complete but I never received any notification that the order is ready for pick up. They already took 500$ for the speaker but I never received it and no one knows where is it
Placed an online order. Received an email stating it shipped two days later. I called six days later to check status, and was told it was out for delivery. Was never given a Fedex Tracking number. Still not here after two days, and am experiencing 15 minute wait times at 930A. Horrendous lack of service/attention to detail.

I ordered a Yamaha PSR-SX900, which is in short supply, but was listed as "in stock" on their website. After I saw the charge pending on my credit card, I received an email informing me that they only had one floor-sample and an open-box unit. The website showed that they had new units "in stock" and that's what I ordered. After several phone calls and emails I managed to cancel the order. Buying a new musical instrument should not be an experience like buying an used car...
I have had multiple issues with Samash. My first purchase with my Samash card I signed up and bought a bass in store where I signed up for the Samash card as well. That process was great. The customer service was great. So I came back to buy a guitar shortly after. That is where the first issue came up. The guitar was incorrectly tagged. Ordered an item that was listed as new. I was then contacted by the store manager where it was being shipped from and told that it was a "re-pack" and given the opportunity to cancel the order. I told him to cancel the order. A short while later, I got an email telling me the order was shipped and the money was extracted from my Pay Pal account. The refund took over a week to actually get back into my account. Pay Pal partially to blame but still, Sam Ash should never have processed the payment.
