I have been going there for over 20 years. The entire staff has changed in the last year or so. They are rude and unhelpful. Basically they couldn't care less and it shows, both on the phone and in person.The doctors are mediocre and one the PA's missed a spot I showed her on my face and it was cancer. I suppose I should have sued them...the plastic surgery alone for the hole in my face was $5,000. The doctors and staff are nice in Morristown. HOWEVER... the way The Derm Group runs the back office is horrible. I have had months and months of back and forth with many different members of the staff on prior authorization for medicine which my insurance approved and paid for (can you say fraud). Recently their prior authorization specialist quit or was fired and they dumpped way too much work on someone who is already maxed out. I have been using The Dermatology Group for years and never had a problem (although there was never anything suspicious on my skin besides a couple of planters warts that needed to be removed.) However in the last year, I experienced two serious issues of negligence and therefore will not be returning. I am not one to leave reviews first ever Beware Doctor Avnee Shaw is a total butcher When in for a 1 centimeter pimple on forehead 4 visits later came out with 14 stiches all because i complained to her that on her first surgery she used a center puncher to remove and left 2 remainders of pimple i truly feel she did this huge Scar on my forehead on purpose all because i complained to her that she left matter when she used center puncher to remove pimple
I wish I could give negative stars. All you do is wait and wait and wait at this office. Then once you sit in the waiting room you sit some more in the exam room. A regular doctor you say - nope - you have to beg for one of them. The Nurse Practitioners are usually great but not this time. I was handed off to an assistant after less than two minutes after being "examined". Then waited some more only to be told that they didn't have the test I was scheduled for. The doctor & PA staff seems fine, but the back office & clinical support staff were terrible. For my condition I require a specialty biologic injection every 3 months & I went to the Derm Group in Verona for 15 months. The 5 shots were done in their office. They were unable to submit a prescription to my pharmacy and receive my shot almost every time. So, each time, at the time of my shot, they had not received it despite its scheduled every 3 months in advance and I would call ahead by over a week to remind them! And th... read more
I love the practitioner I see, but getting a prescription filled is frustrating. The staff is non-responsive. And I have been trying to call them for 2 days now, and phones say "out of service." I guess they closed down?

I've been coming to Dr. nossa for laser hair for 10 + years and they never took insurance because hair removal is classified as cosmetic. So they were getting $300 out of me every treatment for 5 minutes of work, which it always seemed like a hassle for the dr - I didn't see anyone else forking over that kind of cash everyone.
