This is the company to use if you are sick of the slimy salesman of other window replacement companies (Feldco). They are straight forward, professional, local, and reasonable. The installation was quick but thorough. They cleaned up and made sure we were happy. We have more windows that will need replacing in the future and we will continue to rely on them. Replaced several old windows.

Jon was very thorough in his explanation of the product the costs and the installation process. He did not try to oversell me things I didn't need. Damien was very professional. We had a couple of scheduling glitches but he was very proactive with his communication. He provided me with a thorough demonstration and instruction on how to operate and clean the new windows. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Scientific Home Services. I first booked an appointment with John to come over to my condo to look at the windows I wanted replaced. He arrived promptly and was courteous and knowledgeable. He recommended the type of vinyl replacement windows I was looking for and wrote up a proposal. He arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He repaired the window quickly and gave us some tips to keep it in good working order. Can't say enough about how well-done everything was from the estimate to completion. The windows are terrific and, while saving us a great deal on heating costs, made the house much more comfortable. One of the best investments we've ever made. The estimator spoke straightforwardly and without any BS: he was not a salesman as many of these estimators are. unknown They replaced 2 casement windows in master bedroom with triple pane vinyl windows. A very good experience from estimate to installation. Installers were very careful and mindful they were working in our master bedroom. Were also careful about rose bushes outside the windows. One of the window panes came cracked from the factory and an immediate order for replacement was done.

Our house was built in the late 1940's or early 1950's. The windows were the original metal cranking casements with wood storm windows screwed to the outside. The cranks were stripped and inoperative on many of the windows. In the winter, ice formed on the inside causing mold and moisture damage on the inside sills. To make matters worse, the old widows were installed and then they plastered to them on the inside. The install went seamlessly. Damian and his partner arrived exactly on the time they said they would. They were professional, efficient and clean. On a Saturday afternoon, they set to work right away and didn't take a break until the job was done almost 6 hours later. We had 7 windows replaced in all. The estimator came to my home promptly and on time as expected. We walked through the house and looked at several of the various window types in my 1928 home to evaluate their usefulness. I was grateful that he was more than willing to entertain my questions about current and future work, including some aspects of maintenance that I could do on my own.
