I contacted Scientific after reading excellent reviews online. John came over to give me an estimate. He was straightforward, professional and gave me what I thought (based on other estimates) was a reasonable price. It wasn't the lowest bid, but nevertheless I decided to go with him as I felt I could trust Scientific and their product. I appreciated the fact that he did not attempt any of the high pressure tactics (e.g. "today only" pricing) of some of the other salesmen. The window was delivered and installed on time. I bought a house a year ago. I called scientific home solution twice to do estimations for difference reasons. Both times, they gave me solutions without a charge. I am very impressed by their honesty and professionalism. First time: One of our windows lose its seal and it gets flurry inside. I called scientific home services. Damian Kusek and his co-worker arrived at my home shortly after 8:00 AM as promised. They were professional, courteous, and very respectful. They thanked my wife for removing the furniture from in front of the old windows and then they started. They covered everything and when the job was done they cleaned up. We bought a foreclosed house, and many of the windows were old and sloppily installed, to the point where water was leaking in underneath the edges. Damian came to install everything, and he was great. Very patient, professional, and competent. The work took the amount of time he said it would, and he also explained to me what had gone wrong with the previous installation. Everyone I dealt with at SHC was completely professional and courteous. After contacting them for a quote I received a quick response from one of the owners followed by a face to face in home meeting. The installers arrived on time and everything went smoothly. I plan on having SHC install 4 more windows this Spring. Installed new windows.

Out of all the companies I hired on Angie's List this year, this company was the best. I live in a 50's raised ranch that is under one of the new flight paths near O'Hare and the seals leaked on the thermo pane casement windows in the front of my house.I decided to replace them with a picture window and two double hung, like they were when the house was built. We had a great experience with scientific home services! We would use them again in a heartbeat. We replaced 7 windows (all the windows on the 2nd floor of our townhouse). The entire experience was great. One of the owners came out to our house and measured to give us an estimate. It was really low pressure, fast, and very straight forward. They were incredibly responsive over email for all my questions and my husband's questions. It took about 6-7 weeks for the windows to manufacture. Very goodexperience. Pleased with product. Jon was knowledgeable & professional in helping me decide & place order. I dealt w/ Mark to set up install which went smoothly. The installers, Damian & co-worker, were excellent. Scientific Home Services replaced 3 picture windows in our condo. Before installation, the company made sure all window measurements were correct. New window installation was rather difficult due to condo location (4th floor), but installers did an excellent job. They removed old windows and replaced all rotten wood around them, and installed new windows fairly quickly.
