This company borders on illegal activity nearly with all their customers. Re-opening units with out customers consent, threating to take you to collections when you cleaned out your unit and then miraculously new items appear in that unit after speaking with the office and attempting to close your account. They are not honest, they are not accountable, they are disrespectful and not to mention lazy to do the job they are there for. Unacceptable behavior from a company. Public Storage at ************************ is the ABSOLUTE WORST. I would give them no stars as they are worthless. I rented a unit online. When I showed up to move my stuff in, there was already someone else's stuff in the unit. The front office person moved me to another unit. I have paid for that unit monthly for the three & half months I used it. I just received a collections notice for the original unit. I have rented a 5x10 storage unit at the ********, ******** ** location for years. My rate started at a somewhat reasonable price but continued to increase drastically every several months without warning, just, heres your reality attitude. Last Thursday I was at my locker when another renter, two units to my right/same size unit began chatting with me sharing her monthly rent was $93 while mine had increased to $190. Over pricing on ONLY select individuals. I was paying $534/month for a 10'X25' when I met a guy two doors down only paying $250 for the last couple of years for the same size unit. I was lied to a couple years ago by **** (guy who runs it) who said that the price was fair and equal to the prices around town. I called him out on the spot about my other unit about 1.5 miles from them where I have been paying $209 for the last 10 years (it's a 10'X20').
