We will never use Public Storage again.They run specials to lure you in, and within 6 months you are on your way to substantial rate increases. We rented for almost 3 years ... They will increase your rates every 6 months to a year. I have gotten two rare increases in less than two years. The first rate increase was 15% and the second was 30%. Absolutely horrific company. Strategically designed to s**** you in every way possible, including not even letting you see your statements or billing. No way to contact a person in customer service, etc. Also, 65% increase on one of my units in 10 months, and 45% on the other. Straight crooks. You have been warned.

this was a really abusive service, had my boat storage there, and was robed several times, gas, batteries, electronic in different times, made the complaints to the different managers at their times, and nobodies care, was told to make the police report, and after that was told by managers that they cant and will not do nothing, never had a response from the public storage company, they never even tried to improve the security installing security cameras, or even a small light, NOTHING, a small piece of land with a fence and... read more

Ive been storing my things at Public Storage for over a year now, and they even increased the price on me, which was no problem at all because I had a lot of things there and recently they told us that they were renovating but instead of renovation, it was infested with rats and roaches and I lost everything. The employees there were just not helpful at all. Moved out of Public storage Oct 31, 2023. I had a positive balance of $239. I rented from PS for 20 years. A large Rat and ***** infestation destroyed my property. After begging district manager, I was granted a 1/2 month refund. I gave a full 30 day move-out notice. PS TOOK back the refund although I paid in advance each month. *** talked to countless Reps in the ****************** who Continue to string me along, promising a refund however, to this day, I have received Nothing. Terrible customer service. I left several Voicemails, sent emails, and the manager never contacted me back about canceling my unit. Instead of contacting me for the final payment, they sent it to collections. I only used the unit until March 3rd but they charged me for the entire month of March anyways. I had to call the corporate number to settle up the final payment, they said there was nothing they could to for the terrible service I received.

Be careful renting from Public Storage as they will increase your rates every 6 months to a year. I have gotten two rare increases in less than two years. The first rate increase was 15% and the second was 34%.

Our U-Haul was stolen on my last day of my unit rental and after renting the unit for two years with no requests, or late payments, I asked the manager if I could prorate for two days while a new truck was provided. I was told no they do not prorate I would have to pay another month $284. I did on April 1st, loaded up the last item in my unit and drove to *********. This is price gauging! I have been renting a space for 11 years. This company raises its rates whenever it sees fit. My rent is now almost $300 a month! I have tried to talk to the area manager but got nowhere. We are seniors on a fixed income and can't afford these rate hikes anymore. Stay away from this company.
