They are terrible!! My rent been going up $50-$65. My rent started at $130ish 2 years ago an now they emailed me saying it's going up to $325. I've had 4 increases already in which I disputed 2 of them an they kept it the same but this is a storage unit which is in terrible shape but they redoing the office but not the units??? This company and it's employees are scammers. If you make a reservation DOES NOT mean anything. They will call you ***** times to get you in a public storage facility and they will make fun of you by making reservation and they will tell you first come first serve but they still want you to make reservation and they will call you many times to make sure to scam you at the facility.

I would NEVER rent a storage unit from them again.They charge you month to month even if you move out early they will still charge you for a whole month.It should be illegal for them to charge you for a month and when u vacate they charge a new customer for the same ********************** unit for the same month.So they are getting two payments for one storage unit,They need to be stopped!!

Renters Beware. We were a Public Storage client for over four years, spanning two different units. After the latest price increase of 22%, we decided to close our unit. We removed everything on Saturday morning, March 2, and were told by the on-site manager that we were responsible for the balance of the remaining 29 days of March - no proration for the days of the month that the unit was open and available for Public Storage to rent the unit to someone else. This company scams and loots people. I had taken a 10x10 unit at the ******* store. I moved out my stuff on 1st March but the company still charged me for the whole month. No grace ****** and when you talk to them they say its written in your rental agreement. There is literally just a single line saying month by month rental. Never recommending this idiot store. The smaller players are atleast considerate and consumer friendly.

I gave this business a 1 star but actually its a star minus I was renting from SIMPLY STORAGE. I fell in a bad struggle and couldnt afford a phone so I didnt know they were sold to public storage but Simply had my daughters number so at the last minute they called her and stated they planned on selling my unit and my full amount needed to be paid mind you it was ****** dollars and had to be paid in 3 days on receiving the call I work and get paid every 2-3 months so simply charged me late fees public charges late fees and al... read more

My issue is being revived by the insurance company but the company in Brooklyn has stolen my things. Then they call me to say there has been a mistake and they threw my things out as abandoned property.

Hello, I was pretty much scammed into one of Public Storage practice. On 02/29/2024, I had a reservation for a storage unit on 03/01/2024 for $62.00, I called on 03/01/2024 to the location and asked to make the payment online, they told me I had to come in to use a kiosk and make the payment, upon arriving to the facility on 03/01, my reservation was still active, but there was someone in the front office, when I attempted to make the payment on the kiosk, the person asked for my email/phone, when I gave them that info, they... read more
