Several units were broken into at the ************************************************** location. Cameras displayed around the property do not actually work. Although you rent at your own risk, you assume there is a basic level of security. No apology for the break in and after calling to close my account, was still charged the next months rent even though the Public Storage employee said my account was closed. They obviously do not care about any of their customers.

This company is nothing but a bait-and-switch scam artist. I have no idea how they stay in business. 30-40% increases within a year. They don't budge on negotiating a lower rate. It will catch up with them at some point.

From day one this Public Storage was an issue with the billing, was double billed, it took so much time to keep calling with no return call. after 3 weeks finally got refund. That was the 1st. month, and now on month 2. over billed me and said they have not received my payment for this month, my receipts says i paid and so does my bank acct. on my receipt is shows move in fee, again in the amount of ***** and a bad check charge in the amount of 25. Started my rate at $37, the price increased 3 times to total $89 now. I just talked to a friend that said without a discount, the price for a unit my size was $25 (with discount $20). That is outrageous to charge me $64 more because I have been there with them for a while.

RIP OFF!I started my rental 4/2/23 with a (supposed to be) online special 10x25 for $160/month. May 23 the rent increased to $180! Then 3 months later in increased to $246. A few months later it increased to $294! Today marks one year I've been renting! Within one year my rent has increased $134 which is absolutely ridiculous! I called and spoke with someone in the escalation ***** She tells me they can increase the rent 6months-a year anytime with no cap on how much! Increased dues within six months one year later and paying nearly $200 for a small unit. Issue: I cleaned the storage and filed my cancellation through their mobile application and they still sent me a hostile email trying to collect for the month of April. Called and left messages repeatedly to the manager with absolutely no follow up to my voicemails. Do yourself a favor and do not rent a storage from these guys. Horrible experience.

Had to add a star. If I had my way: ZERO stars.Below is an excerpt of a letter I wrote two years ago when they hiked my rent up to $208.00. Just got another rate hike in the mail today (4-1-24). I have a large storage unit in the *************, ** location. I have had some sort of unit there since 2001. The unit I have now is the largest they have and have rented it since about 2007. (?) When Public Storage too over in the late summer/early fall of 2023 my rent was $175.00. Almost immediately my rent was increased to $245.00 + $15.00 for insurance. An increase of $85.00.
