I buy storage units as of lately we have been using the online storage auction to purchase Public Storage units. I was at the ********************************* ******* ** location cleaning out my storage locker , Im on the 3rd floor when all of a sudden with no warning no one saying anything over the intercom or walking through. This place is a ripoff. They raised my rent twice in two months. I moved all my stuff out after the second raise. There is never anyone in the office and when I call all I get is a recording. Never rent from Public Storage unless you like being ripped off.

Just a few day's ago I wanted to create a new account with my girlfriend's name instead of mine. But keep the same the same unit! The ******* street location said we couldn't do that. So I called another location here in ************* on the other side of town. The gentlemen there told me it could be done. He said he knew it could be done they just don't want to do it. If price gouging and 0% customer service is what you are looking for...then this is your place! Was a loyal customer on auto pay for over 5 years. My rate was increased from $83 per month to $236 over multiple increases. When I called to ask why, I was offered 1 rate reduction. So I got a quote from the competitor next door. $71 for the same sized unit and payed for the year to hold the rate. Ive been with public storage for four years and they keep raising the rental fee. It had gone up to $330 per month. Online they list a 10 x 10 unit for $174 per month. currently they just raised my rate to $415 per month. I cannot contact anyone at the company I did leave a message.

This storage unit has been substantially increasing their prices without any notice or attempt to justify the increases.

Horrible company, they knew i was on a super tight budget but they kept increasing my monthly charges, repeatedly. I kept informing them i can no longer affor it, they didn't care, they laughed at me and mocked me, Disgusting, I can't wait until they go out of business, it is the worst company in world history. Worst workers ever.

Three months into the agreement my rent goes from 180 to 250. I go online and rent another identical unit for 183. I visit the location and the manager lowers my original unit back to 180 and I cancel the other unit. I was led to believe that my additional unit was on "Hold" yet I was charged ******. I expected to get a refund on my card. No refund came. Getting in touch with a real person is next to impossible. All my personal items were damaged due to rats and their f**** and urine. I really do hate this company.
