there was unauthorized transaction have been done on my checking account on 06/13/2023 of $720. I reported to claim department about this activity, after few days i called them to know the status of the claim. unfortunately it was against me. I don't know where i am standing with the bank. it seems like there is no protection of your security.

Someone emptied our checking account for almost $2,000. We were notified by text and when we called to let them know we did not make those purchases and asked if they could stop the payment they refused. They claimed that it had to go through before they could do anything. We are now 5 days with $0 in our checking and nothing has been done. Everyone we have spoken with says there is nothing they can do to help us. This bank is a thieves dream.

I have been banking with Bb&t (Truist) for almost 8 years and ever since switching to Truist its terrible. Ive had so many issues. Currently have been waiting for a new debit card for 2 months. Waiting on the 3rd one. The first and second ones were suppose to take 5-7 business days and everytime I would call after waiting ***** days I kept getting told wait til Friday wait til Friday wait til Friday well 2 cards and over *************************************************** to pay them 30$ to expedite me a 3rd card. My mortgage was sold to Truist from Freedom in 2022. When the transaction took place, I was unbale to pay my mortgage or set up reoccurring payments online. Was told that there was a 60-day grace ****** but kept receiving late notices. The real challenge started when I recently sold my house. I updated my account with my new mailing address before selling the home but both refund escrow checks were sent to my old address. Take your money out of that bank. What is going on in the ****** case is a disgrace. ****** was terminated for no reason. Do not trust that bank and get your money out. *************************

Unable to resolve issues with my loan. Have been to the local ********* branch multiple times. They say it is fixed, they are working on it, there is a special team but it is never fixed. They do not contact you to give any information. You have to contact them except for the bill collectors calling like me like I haven't made a payment when in reality I have paid every month and paid additional money to the principal. Horrible way of handling business, misguided information, blamed me for them having technical difficulties on their end when processing my payment and gave me a late fee, contradicting their statements to cover up their mistakes, did not take accountability for their mistakes which they said they would fix (online banking) a month ago but didnt which caused a lot of inconvenience for me, spent hours on the phone with them to try to pay my bill and they couldnt even figure out why it wouldnt process my payment but still gave ... read more

Ever since Truist purchased BB&T (my original banker), everything has gone downhill. From fraudulent charges, to online banking errors resulting in changing the password FIFTEEN TIMES in one month, to crappy customer **********************, to increased service charges. Myself and everyone I know who used Truist in my small town has now switched to alternate banks. Do better.
