Dealing with my mortgage from Truist has been a nightmare. Please read your policy and maybe even consult an attorney. They changed my mortgage from a non-escrow to an escrow account. Which was not disclosed during the time I procured the mortgage. This happened in the June, Ive paid my homeowners insurance for the year and now theyve sent a check to my current insurance company and the prior insurance company. The letter I received says first payment due 7/23/23, however, when I logged in to pay today, 7/13/23, I was already charged $38 and change in interest on the loan. Also, I was told by the Leaf Guard representative and a customer ********************** agent that it was zero interest for 18 months. But when I logged in it clearly states ****% interest. This company is a rift off. I made my first payment on time and received my statement which showed a decrease in my total due next month. But when I called about a pay off of my loan the price was over $1,000.00 more than the origin loan amount. I asked the company and they stated that interest is added each day. Therefore everyday this company is added $6.82 to my total bill which equal $204.60 a month. Only $60.00 of the payment is going to the principal!!This is just BS. Ive been banking with BB&T for years and never had any problems until they switched over to Truist. I got a text message asking to confirm a purchase from a website I wasnt familiar with. I immediately called the bank and was transferred to their corporate office. I asked for them to deactivate my debit card because the charge wasnt mine and send me a new one, the customer ********************** representative reassured me my card was deactivated and couldnt be used and a new one would come in the mail in 5-7 business days. ... read more

My mother is 101 yrs. old and I have to take care of her finances. Truist at ****************** in ********* ** attempted to set me up a profile. I brought them a Notarized, recorded copy of my POA. It was a four page document. After copying the document and asking me for all types of personal info they were to call me within ***** hours. 5 days later I received a call that said I had been denied. This place is ruining my credit. During covid season I asked them to make payments every 2 weeks they agreed. I made ***** payments they still kept adding on late fees.They put me as a charge off but still keep adding late fees.

I agree with ALL of the comments! I am SO frustrated with this company. I had a large window installed and the company (Service Finance Company) offered us a zero % loan for a year. I had saved the cash for a year so we could pay it off on the 1st bill. I got such a run around, So I tried to pay w/bill pay @ my bank, it came back and undelivered. Just yesterday!!! bad customer **********************. i called themcto process my zelle payment. instead processing my payment, they cancelled my payment then locked my account. i will definitely closed my account cause of this bad experience
