I have 2 accounts with Truist. I was charged $36 dollars for an overdraft of .05 cents. Customer ********************** was unwilling to reverse the charge and Im about to close my savings and checking after 16 years banking with Suntrust then Truist. Their customer ********************** is terrible.

Long time customer originally from ********************. Customer ********************** is very poor. They do not care about the customer. After 11 years, I am switching to **** of America. They locked my online account and will not unlock it without my going in to one of their crowded branches and waiting for hours to talk to someone. I am going in to close out my accounts and pay my loans.

I started with BB&T, now Truist, about fifteen years ago, and have always had good service. But, they are being stingy with interest on savings. Interest rates have been going up for the past year, but not at Truist. They are still paying close to 0% on savings. Called them, and they said they have plans to raise interest rates. Will have to change banks to get some interest.

Almost a month ago we bought a boat from a person who financed it though this bank. The payoff was $30,000.00. We paid it off, long story short, we are still waiting for the title to the motor and trailer. It's a pontoon, we got the title for the boat but that's it. Tomorrow we leave on vacation to the lake with our grandkids and we cant even take our boat because this bank cant get their act together and send ** all the paperwork to register it all in our name. We are so mad and very disappointed!!!

Run away from this bank. Do business with ANY other bank or mortgage company you can find. Truist bought my mortgage from my mortgage broker in 2022 and they have been a nightmare to deal with. My mortgage was established as a non-escrow account where I send my real estate taxes and insurance payments myself. Eight months after the mortgage began, Truist began sending tax payments to my town. My town tax collector sent the money back to Truist each time because I had already paid them. I opened a new account with ********************** as a 1st time customer. I opened a checking which I deposited my ******** State Tax Refund check and some cash into and a savings which I deposited $1,000.00 cash into. The bank never contacted me, sent me a letter or anything. I opened the accounts June 3rd on June 5th, the bank froze my accounts and said I committed fraud by depositing my refund check. ************************* is supposed to be their financial advisor. Very poor service from him and his associate *****. They kept us sitting in the waiting area of the bank for over 30 min for our appointment time. So we left, we had an appointment at a certain time so they should have considered our time just as valuable as theirs. Wouldnt recommend them for any investments!!!

Do not do any business with this bank I am having a very hard time getting my ninny back ,I went to one their own ATM machines to make a deposit and stupid machine took my money and did not give me credit for it.they are taking my money hostage,. Thats stealing from customers.

Received a letter dated **** from Service Finance, a subsidiary of Truist, stating I had been denied credit due to a poor credit report. I'm quite certain I've never applied for credit from either Service Finance or Truist or made any application for credit from anyone at all during the time-frame indicated. I did, however, have to finance a purchase after the time frame indicated, and I had no difficulty at all. My suspicion: scam.
