BBT was great, Truist is c*** I've called and talked to 5 different representatives through their automated system. Each has told me "they can't help with that" and they send me back to the automated system, which then sends me back to the same people that told me they cant help me.
Truist Bank is the worst bank I have ever delt with. They aquired my home mortgage from another lender and we have had nothing but problems. Keep in mind my husband and I have and have had excellent credit ratings for the last 20+ years. We are paying additional principal on out loan every month but with kids in college we would like to discontinue that additional premium. Truist is a joke and the people that work for them are a joke. Their communication is terrible. They pass you onto another employee at the bank or fail to respond at all. We have a construction loan with them currently and it has been a hassle and a mess from the jump. We had delays in the building process due to weather and CVOID and our builder requested 2 additional months to complete the job. Our boat loan was transferred to Truist when they merged with SunTrust. It's been a less than acceptable experience. We've had to rely on Truist to endorse insurance claim checks and the process has been beyond frustrating. It is impossible to talk to anyone at Truist that has the ability to give information, make decisions, or answer questions. Those individuals that might be able to help hide behind multiple layers of dysfunctional offshore call centers. The call centers are useless, rude, and a barrier to getting any help... read more
I have had a dispute case with them on my credit card since November. I was in the hospital after I opened up the dispute. They said they didnt receive my info in time and I had missing info, so they sent a second letter and said I still had missing info. I called and talked to them both times. I told them that I couldnt give them something that I didnt have. They still to this day and several letters back and forth, they are still denying my claim. They do not work in favor of the customers.
The payment system is absolutely horrific. I have scheduled auto pay twice and now theyre saying it did not go through and I am 32 days late. I have never been late on a payment there needs to be a class action lawsuit on this behavior. I have dealt with these people for ************************************************** Customer **********************. They should outsource all of their payments. Now I am fighting with the credit bureaus to get a 30 day late off that should have never been there
Wish I could give them negative stars. Worst customer **********************. Try to talk to a human being! Forget it. Not even at your branch office. If by some miracle you do speak with someone. You guessed it. You cannot understand them. To many issues to print. I will be closing my account. The merge was their biggest mistake. Stay clear of them.
No stars I understand what brings consumers to use this type of lending I just dont understand the lack of oversight by any agency on them. I have paid for my vehicle 3 times over and they continue to **** money I would never recommend a deal using them you will never be paid off.
