Truist Bank is changing its policies against the consumer. One of them is to put in hold deposits which it never happened in the past when it was with Suntrust (Truist became the merge between Suntrust and BBT).I never had this hold in the past and besides that in spite of saying the money will be available in one week now they are holding it 3 additional days or more without no justification at all.I want people to know this because I know several other prior customers of Suntrust and BBT who are leaving Truist because of t... read more

Should be called Shady Finance Company. They send cryptic emails about payments that don't inform you payoff amount, payoff date or interest rate. They set the bimonthly payments to be close to the total loan amount to make the customer think the will pay it off interest free and then bam, they hit you with a ridiculous interest payment to payoff the loan. Loan sharks...

Worst bank ever. Do not open an account with them. RUN!!!! They never want to cash checks and release your money !! Talking about oh were have to verify bla bla bla. I cant wait to close the account

I called the company today about interest charges on my statement that should have been waived for a 12 month promo period. The man I spoke with was very short with me and treated me like I was an idiot. I will never do business with this company again. The one thing that these employees have control over is their customer **********************. This man lacked decency and respect for customers which is the least of what I expect from a business. Shame on him for his treatment of me!!!

I have to go to ***** Fargo; which I do NOT want to do; because that's the bank that signs off on my payroll check. My bank of 20+ years; Truist cannot cash it? How long will I stay with a bank that declines my legitimate payroll check? Not long. Policies that work for Truist but not it's customers. Former customer.

Ridiculous check hold times - an 8-day hold on a check from Fidelity?! A 2- day hold I can understand, but 10 days??? So now I have to pay extra ten days interest on my credit cards so they can use my money for an extra ten days of investing. Been with Suntrust since 2012. I refuse to deposit anything else into this account other than child support payments received for two more years. Im shifting everything now to my Chase account. Never seen anything like this. These people gave me a car loan 7 years ago, Im still paying on it . Interest rates keep going up, please dont use these people for nothing!

Truist will be quick to take your money but will take forever to deposit your money. I got a money order for rent which in turn my apartment does online payments only. I went to deposit MY EXACTLY SAME MONEY the very next day with the exact same teller. Money was never cleared, I called their robot support team for them to tell me they are holding my money and there is no one available to process it until many days later. Theres many other bad experiences Ive had with Truist but this is the last straw.

They denied my claim of $600 for a good I never received after sending in documentation of proof. Secondly, I had a friend ***** me $105 on the 1st and its not showing in my checking account. I do not recommend Truist to bank with. Their customer ********************** is poor in the bank teller, they are RUDE & they treat you like a criminal instead of a guest! Bank elsewhere!
