Worst ****, definitely not for the people. They hold your money if its a check for more than a week. They dont provide you with a temporary debit card or any until a week or so, and if you lose it, you cant get another one until 90 days. Right now I deposited a check and its being held for a week maybe more and their reason doubtful collectability. Do they make up reasons for hold money. Horrible!!!!! I am closing as soon as my check clears! Dont **** with them!

On May 23, I was hit with the fees you received from this bank. Not know there is ridiculous fee for having your money or taking it out. You are charged a $15 fee for going over transfer limits. Fee dont stop there. You get a fee of $10 because you withdraws from you ATM because you had no more transfers!! Really???? So why do you give a ATM Card. Its not even a DEBITE CARD. This to me seem like a scam to take money from the customers you have. Never had issues with SUNTRUST. All my issues started once these to banks merged.... read more

Very disappointed in this bank. Unreasonable fees, zero customer **********************. ********* ** branch manager very empathetic and tries to help, but the antiquated bank policies have limited employees ability to be helpful.Thought I was getting a small bank experience when I switched banks. Not the case. Will be closing all accounts, business and personal and going back to *****. This business is predatory and sent me an email for a past due payment that is not even due yet. They are clearly under duress and must have a cash flow shortage. I've paid religiously for the last 5 years. I will paying my final payment in advance and will never do business with them again. Beware of this shady company.

I hate truist bank. My daughter has been with Truist Bank for years, as have I. She deposited a life insurance check and is seeing a hold on it for possible fraud. How the heck can you put a hold on a life insurance check drawn on a life insurance company for 7 days. she had all the identification to prove who she was and her account information. I have been with ******** Federal, Suntrust, and now Truist for as long as they have existed. I never had a problem until Truist took over. I had two debit cards hacked immediately ... read more

The worst! They take money right out of your account but takes 2-3 days to return it.

I have bren trying to cancel my merchant ****** services for over a month. Truist has been charging me fees on my account. I have not been able to operate my business successfully due to their over charging and unprofessionallism. I have called all around the word and they loed about over charging me for my machine, instead they keep trying to deduct from my account. I would like for them to remove their fees which were charged for no reason. Just look at my banking history.

I wanted to give them 0 stars if I was able to. I signed up for an account as they had a promotional offer going on of $400. I followed the promotion requirements and never got the $400 after my 90 days was up. So I called and first off everyone I spoke to told me my account was closed yet I was looking at my account and just pulled money out of it a week prior. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with not just a bank but any business ever!!! Canceled my debit card 4 times without my consent. I now live out of state and it takes two weeks to get here so i have no access to my funds. I called this last time 6 times in two days and asked to talk to a supervisor the first 4 times then a manager the next two times.
